Hoarder’s Yard Has 8-Foot-Tall Wall of Junk

  • A house in Los Angeles has so much junk piling up, that it covers nearly the entire property. Neighbors are fed up and say that the items have been accumulating for years. Inside Edition visited the house, where the yard was full, with junk even spilling out of the homeowner’s car. The neighbor said that he complained to the city, but nothing’s been done. A day later, clean-up crews arrived and began clearing the 8-foot-high wall of debris. More than 16 giant trucks were needed to haul it all away.

One thing to hoard within your house if your super possessive and want to keep things protected. But leaving that much junk to build up and bacteria/pests gathering it ain’t about being possessive but wanting to actually live like garbage.
Next main question is this: the stuff is cleaned up now BUT will the person redo all that again and this time double down by getting lawyers (if he gog the money) to fend his junk on his property?

Hoarding is pretty common (this is obviously an extreme example) and comes in many different forms. I hope people out there can at least have some compassion toward this person. A huge part of their life and comfort was taken away when they showed up to clean, and I'm sure it was very, very difficult for this person to let go of. I hope they get the help they need.

My mom's a hoarder. 100% when there's new space, hoarders get more stuff to fill it. It just continues until they get treatment or die. Unfortunately many choose not to get treatment.
