The 2022 Moccasin Lake Open Pro Weekend Presented by the Tampa Bay Disc Sports Club
The 2022 MLO Pro Weekend is your chance to take on Clearwater’s premier disc golf course in its most challenging and notable layout. Taking place the weekend of November 12th-13th, the MLO utilizes Cliff Stephens’ 21 hole layout and Golds layout. This tournament is a 3 round shotgun start tournament. The field size will be limited to 90 players. This is a PDGA B-tier with $1000 added cash for our Pros.
The event is scheduled as follows:
11/11- 1pm to 5pm Early Check-in at Cliff Stephens Disc Golf Course
11/12- Check in opens 7:15am-8:15am
11/12- Round 1 Start 8:30 am
11/12- Round 2 Start 1 hours after last card comes in from round 1, to be announced.
11/13- Round 3 Start 9:00 am
Our virtual players meeting will be prerecorded and emailed to all players on the Thursday before the tournament 11/10. Tee assignments will be posted Thursday night as well, please however remember to check again on Friday in the event of any changes due to last minute drops.
Due to limited parking at the course, parking will be directed by our event staff. Once parking fills at the designated areas, players are to park alongside Park Trail Lane. Please be cautious in parking to not block in any vehicles or park in any restricted areas.
Check in for all players will start on Friday at 1pm at Cliff Stephens. If you have a chance to swing by on Friday, come on out, grab your players pack and check in early. Check in resumes Saturday morning at 7:15 am through 8:15 AM.
Scoring for this tournament will exclusively be done through PDGA live scoring. The event code is MLOPRO. We will provide you with this event code at tournament central. Two players on each card are encouraged to keep score with live scoring in order to catch any possible discrepancies in real time. We will show you how to get it all set up if you have any questions.
There will be no in person players meeting for this tournament, please proceed to your starting hole prior to tee off.
Play begins Saturday morning at 8:30. This tournament will be utilizing a shot gun start format, meaning all players will be assigned to holes throughout the course and all players will begin play at the same time.
Course rules will be displayed for each hole on the PDGA live scoring website, they will also be attached to the email sent out to all players Thursday and they will be described in detail in our virtual players meeting.
After the first round on Saturday, there will be a 1 hour lunch before the second round begins. Hole assignments will be updated between rounds. Please check the PDGA website for your hole assignment and the round two tee time.
The final round on Sunday will begin at 9 am. There is no need to check in for your Sunday round. After Sunday’s round we will be distributing trophies and payout. Please stick around to collect your trophies, payout, and raffle tickets. Payout for AMs will be provided via club merchandise.
Our raffle will be held on the Monday night following the tournament. The raffle will be stream live on the Tampa Bay Disc Sports Club Facebook page. We will contact all raffle winners and get your prizes to you!

The Tampa Bay Disc Sports Club is one of Florida’s largest disc golf clubs. We have been operating locally in Tampa Bay for more than 20 years. Our club is a nonprofit organization that maintains and improves our local disc golf courses, hosts events and leagues for our local players, and supports the growth of our local disc golf community.
