There are far more beautiful rural areas in the UK than Rutland. I grew up there and it is full of fields and villages, but you can see more stunning, dramatic, picturesque places than Rutland. Try going along to Norfolk and seeing some of the scenery there or to Yorkshire or the wilds of Scotland in the Highlands.

It is a reservoir and not a lake. I grew up in Rutland and know this is a reservoir providing water to the region called the East Midlands.

You should correct the error in your title. Rutland Water is a reservoir, not a lake, and by surface area it is the largest in England so not the UK. It isn't a lake at all and I know this having grown up there and visited Rutland Water many times.

If you read carefully the title and description, you should have noticed that it says "man-made lake". Reservoirs are man-made, aren't they? Also where in the title it says the biggest in the UK?

Well, it is not a lake is it. It would never be defined as a lake so why you put it as a lake is a clear lie. I misread the title and see you put England. It is man-made to be a RESERVOIR, so why you think it should be labelled as a lake is illogical. It was made as a reservoir to provide water to people living there. RESERVOIR NOT a lake 🙄🙄.
