  • Hi there and thanks for watching! I look forward to seeing what variations you come up with with this design. If you have a store or booth these could be great filler pieces.

    I am going to try to make these and hang chains from the loop and see how that looks.

    Now those are cute! You're right, they make good "booth fillers". And don't mind the background noise--my dogs approved, LOL. Loved it!

    I have the Amazon flat nose pliers. I've also gotten a decent pair of tweezer nose pliers and so-so flush cutter for $4 on temu

    I have been waiting for the links to tools,,for-ever!! they are expensive. too expensive.

    • @TheSirenandThePirate
      @TheSirenandThePirate  Před 2 lety +1

      I survived off of very cheap tools for quite some time- you don't have to make a big investment in them. There are plenty of starter kits and cheap tools out there. I eventually got better quality tools because for me it was a very good investment. Basic cutters, pliers, and round nose pliers is all you really need.

      @@TheSirenandThePirate Thank you. I keep looking for the "value". The best for the least type of thing. But, not knowing, how could I know?

    • @TheSirenandThePirate
      @TheSirenandThePirate  Před 2 lety

      Best thing is do type in jewelry making tools into Amazon or Google. Rio grande is also a good source but probably won't have the value you're looking for. Amazon is your best bet.

      @@kevinorr6880 Here's a set I recommend. I bought a few of these kits for my in person jewelry classes. www.amazon.com/Jewelry-Pliers-Beading-Supplies-Crafting/dp/B07QVPGX7H/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=VXmVq&content-id=amzn1.sym.5fe95cd4-8512-42fa-bf21-63d83b898785&pf_rd_p=5fe95cd4-8512-42fa-bf21-63d83b898785&pf_rd_r=9C88240MNVEH657DK6W1&pd_rd_wg=WhdcK&pd_rd_r=5a7b3150-964b-437a-b792-2144300b4c72&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m

      I started making jewellery in the covid pandemic and I bought a very good kit off ebay that had round nosed, flat nosed, bent nosed pliers, metal ruler, tweezers and more in a zip up case. It cost me about £10 and I'm still using them now. I have invested in the needle nose pliers and I'm growing my tool kit because I LOVE tools now LOL! Ask me if I'd rather a new lipstick or a new tool I'd pick the latter and I never thought I'd see the day LOL!
