wish the bass kept the dissonant half step movement in the second part of the phrase, that's such an essential part of the music, also the slide-down chord stabs are missing...also the video got me thinking, maybe electroma should be seen in reverse
partially agreed... I think whoever made this remix wasn't able to appreciate just how beautiful the original version is, if they think this is remotely comparable. I still kinda like it though.
Interpol really crushed it with this song, no doubt. I like the depth of this remix. Solid bass line was trance cool. The little ticks and pops were disco not cool. Ruined it for me. They made it childish and shallow in a way. sorry that's just how i feel. I'm not trying to be dickish. Just speaking out of a free mind. I have respect for the artists and maybe even respect for little ticks and pops. But they do not belong near this song. one thing for sure. this video is absolutely beautiful. powerful. mesmerizing. glorious.... simplicity makes things easier to love (that'sa good one)
I like this, it keeps the feel of the original but has it's own vibe too. There's room for both in my musical world.
