Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a 2011 American science fiction action film directed by Michael Bay and based on the Transformers toy line created by Hasbro. It is the third installment in the live-action Transformersfilm series, and is the sequel to 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It is also the first film in the series not to be co-produced by DreamWorks. Bayverse soundwave is what starscream dreams he could be. Cold, ruthless, formidable, but also useful and productive. Megatron clearly respected Soundwave, and never had to resort to physical violence on him knowing soundwave is as tall as his knee. I’m surprised there was no subplot of Starscream’s jealousy toward soundwave.
theory: During the scene where Bumblebee was about to get executed, we see Barricade simply just looking away. This is due to the fact that Bumblebee spared his life in the first film, which shows the respect that Barricade has for Bumblebee, not executing him and letting Soundwave do it.

What I love about Bayverse's Transformers is that they never hesitate to kill Fan favorite characters even if they're part of the main cast, HECK even Optimus has died once for like half a movie.
It really tenses up every single movie, even the latter ones that got so much hate.

Sucks that he died so quickly in the final battle with Optimus. TF1 Megs and Sentinel Prime's final battles with Optimus were the best. The Fallen should have gotten a similar battle too.

I remember watching this as a kid and I remember for a brief moment, with the music playing and hearing bee’s words “We gave them a hell of run”, I was already crying a lot but the next min I was crying out of joy bee killed soundwave😭🙂🥲

I'm not arguing that it automatically gives a scene emotional weight, I'm just saying that Bee saying 'goodbye old friend' suggests that they were close friends back on Cybertron, although I wish the movie would have gone a bit more into it, maybe have Bee and Que kinda 'hang out' and talk more.

Micheal Bay came up with the most original transformations. When he catches Sam in Mid air is one of the sickest transformations ever. Sams reaction is priceless. Micheal Bay really knew what fans wanted to see if Transformers actually came to live. Its insane.

Love this scene before dilan shoot his mouth the decepticons are willing to let the autobots lived because most of them are soldiers in Cybertron who only wants what's best for their home and they didn't want slaughtered them but now they realise one way or another the autobots will retaliate because it's do or die so they decided to kill them because now it's all about who wins whatever the methods are
The fact that bumblebee is just a kid in Cybertron age. Just imagine what he will be when he is as old as optimus Or Megatron.

So let me get this straight:
1. The Decepticons outsmarted the Autobots here and actually used strategy to gain an upper hand over them
2. They had the numbers advantage against Autobots
3. They had a former Autobot, a freakin PRIME on their side along with some other heavy hitters like Megatron, Shockwave, Starscream, Soundwave, and Driller
4. Sentinel took out Ironhide, another powerful Autobot and so many of the human elite strike force specially trained to kill Decepticons
Despite all this, I still can't help but laugh at how the Decepticons still lost the war. Plot armor is definitely too thick here or we can just establish that the Decepticons were too overconfident and Megatron had a massive ego the size of his legs in the second movie.😂
Numbers don’t always win a war. Experience always wins. And the cons were on the moon for too long, so they were a little rusty. Such as The Fallen fucked around and found out. He sat on his ass for millennia only to get his ass kicked.
Yeah the funny thing is, Autobots are actually a bunch workers that stand together under the commander of Optimus and Decepticons are the soldiers if we talk about their origin on Cybertron
I would like to also say they only got Chicago? There are still humans and still fighting in their planet
