Funny enough the obsidian box should be dangerous lol, but due to updates with swimming you can just swim out of it. But back then something like that wasn't possible so you had to dig your way out or drown

they used to be a death sentence unless you where carrying a bucket a eff V pickaxe or a door

I was gonna say, before the swimming update, that obsidian box was guaranteed death without an empty bucket or respiration, aqua affinity and a diamond pickaxe.

fun fact: the "random sign" that says "Well, Thats your problem." is actually supposed to spawn on top of a piece of bedrock, but the infinite lucky block overrides it.

Fun Fact: the obsidian trap was made BEFORE the aquatic update (which made it that you could swim like you can now). So back in the day with the og lucky blocks, the obsidian trap was pretty muhc impossible to get out of unless you had a bucket and/or efficiencey 5 diamond pick :>

@@Idk_a_name_88 A torch at your head quickly removes the water at your head . Doors craft into three and you always have a spare on you . Plus the make great instant wall shields . They stack and can be disposable / lost with out any worry . A builder always has random doors , trap doors , leaves and torches . From odd crafting and random builds / tweeks to a design .

You should build a large water logged platform 10+ blocks underneath the lucky block so that it collects everything, water logged leaf blocks don't get destroyed by tnt. Add a star case down and you can save all the villagers. Also you can smelt the gold and iron armour and weapons to nuggets to increase the gold and iron you have. Also you could build a oriental tower around the mob spawner

a few thoughts: with the explosions from lucky blocks the , you could use a system of flooded slabs. these slabs could be waterlogged, as long as you have a border to them, they would reflood as you replace em. Because i like to control the mob spawns, things like waterlogged slabs, bamboo, and mycelium have become part of many of my builds. {Bamboo you can get from fishing). as bamboo is fast growing, it makes a great retaining wall and building blocks. you can use boats on waterlogged slabs, as well as fishing. you could also do a climb to world build limit, to build an icetray, to help you with water placement. while i watch the videos, i always come up with a useful tip, that i burn to share. yes, you likely have thought of most of these, but still, ya never know till you share. anyhow, hope some of those thoughts helped in some way. yes, it is kind or random. i tend to randomly spout these kind of things in chat, when i play on most any server. lol, know anything about archery ranges? im just not a fan of pvp, im much too passive. [[[ as for the thoughts, hope they helped in some way ]]] ... yes i am adhd

Funny how Mozi could've used the silk touch pickaxe from the first villager that survived to mine the lucky block and then mine it normally in the nether to save resources and time on the rebuilding of the platform every time

Obsidian water trap was a lot worse when you couldnt swim through a 1 block wide gap. Must be nice being so new to the game i guess 😞
ya know... that silk touch pick coulda saved you a lot of trouble. you could of relocated the lucky block many times to prevent a lot of pain

Upgrades or not, beating the Warden in a 1v1 is still quite a flex
You sould have water logged the fences and slabs ( its basically cheap obsidian ) instead of placing the water on top of the slabs in the lower area for villager catching

I gotta ask , was it an after thought to just water log the sabs around the lucky block and the chests ? Or just honestly could not be bothered with placing that much water ? Side note respect for not building a giant slab ocean under the whole build . Thats my goto for every form of void world game i play . That and building a cave system to live in .

This guy inspired me to pick up Minecraft again.
I found it so funny how he siad that he’s low on sandstone slabs so he was breaking the ring around the bottom circle, but at the same time he was letting it all fall into the void
I know the platform would have got replaced with other stuff and it would have been a different kind of grind to maintain it but just making the same design around the lucky block out of obsidian would have saved a LOT of haste IMO

You can ride skeleton horses without saddles, and i think you can do the same with zombie horses as well
Iron and Gold armor can be smelted in a furnace for iron and gold nuggets
You could've also waterlogged the fences and slabs to avoid them getting blown up

You need to be in water to use trident with riptide enchant and you can use it in mid-air while its raining

I'm sick of getting the cobblestones burnt in the lava and I had no idea how to build a proper cobble stone generator so I straight up built a big platform then pour lava on the ground and pour water on the flowing lava just like that. It's super ugly, maybe it's time to build a proper one now that I have irons to craft some hoppers LOL
