@@vclue846 high maintenance doesn't mean unreliable. The Ferrari 430 had a DCT that would eat itself if not serviced often, and driven correctly. There is simply unreliable cars that don't work, Cadillac Northstar equipped vehicles, Land Rover-Range Rover Sports from 2006 to 2010 to name a few. Those cars just randomly won't work. breakdown, but there is one thing this video shows. It shows that even with all of these problems the car still works. If that's the worst car you've ever driven, you must not have driven a Reliant Robin.

First Maserati I ever saw was a glorified Chrysler lebaron. My grandparents watched over the car for a friend while they were away. The cars look great in a design point but all of them are basically rebadged cars or are a plethora of parts from multiple brands rolled into one

The only Italian brand that was dealt a worse hand is Lancia, and even that's debatable.
Still in love with them. Too bad they are going to rust before they become cheap enough to convert to a track day car with proper ECU and interior delete.

I think If you put it on a stand alone ecu so you could get rid of all of the standard wiring on it then it probably wouldn't be that bad 😂

8:12, that is because it is a luxury brand. Look at 2020 and 2021 models, they are truly a piece of art and they are a whole lot more reliable now. I drive an Alfa Romeo and I love to go to the dealership and learn about their sales and service and I rarely see a new Maserati/Alfa Romeo in their service department. The main ones in there are the 2015, '16, and '17 cars.

What a surprise, you drove a Quattroporte which has been ran into the ground and it is awful. Oh damn, never expected that to be the case. Wanna try a 150 000 mile BMW E65 or W220 next time to see how equally "amazing" it can be? The damn thing is way sharper than any of its competitors of the time with a way more special engine. Geez

I think best case scenario for this car is to strip it to a rolling chassis, sell off all the parts, and put some other drivetrain in it if you really want to own one.
