Shaun, thanks for bringing us along for the day. I am very happy to say this is the first year, in over 15 years, that my lawn is looking as good at the beginning of the season as it did at the end of the season last year. My lawn was the only lawn in the neighborhood that was uniformly green all winter. After following your methods, there's no moss or thatch, no thin spots, and I can see soil between the grass. I'll reseed again in April and am looking forward to a second year of following your advice for a great lawn.

Great following you around Shaun, it's really only in the past few years I've been able to spend more time on my lawn following retirement, and instead of just running the mower over it I'm now more into the science of the turf and grass.
It's great having people like yourself and others to obtain the proper advice from that is such a great help to obtaining a lawn to be proud of.
Hopefully we are on the turn now towards some warmer weather and I can get my 35 classic back to work instead of the rotary.

How much would you charge for the work inc all the materials. Thank you

Hi, as its getting milder you should be fine to use the miracle gro one but check the application timing on it.. it might be that the product is more of a summer feed with some iron in it.. in which case avoid for now... Yes I simply use powdered stuff (most are the same).. the stuff I use is in big bags in bulk and I generally put around 800g to 1000g(1 litre roughly) in with 20 litres of water using a Green deflector tip nozzle.. and of course all the usual rules on spraying apply - as it stains any hard surfaces.,..@@bbr9707
