On the meaning of the song the band has said "For me, it represents the common fear of being forgotten after death," guitarist Kyle Carter tells BrooklynVegan. "It also touches on the fear of not having control and doubting every action you take. The name says it all really. Death, sickness, and most fears hold a lot of us back from living our life how we really want to, so we thought it was an important topic to talk about."
The band added, "We also wanted to give Will Ramos a shout out for absolutely crushing the character portrayed in the video."

The simple fact that makes metal the superior genre: artists feature on other bands songs and videos simply because they love the music. They don’t do it for money. Will fucks with these guys and it shows. I bet he didn’t take a cent to do this other than whatever was required on paperwork by labels and all that, if that. Like Corey Taylor featuring in Drugs by FIR. Just showed up. I bet he did it the same way. Loved it and wanted to hop on for the love of the music.
