A guy in my gaming group was whining about his sucky grocery store job. One of my buddies recommended he get his CDL and become a truck driver. I recommended he get his QuickBooks certification and do bookkeeping. Both of us told him to get off his lazy ass and do something other than whine.
I got my undergraduate degree audited at WGU and only got one third of my degree credits out the way. I honestly thought it would have been more. Im just gonna go the EA route unless chad says otherwise
He's all over the place! Don't over think it, those accounting classes are not that hard. If you fail one... Take it again. Get the degree so you can apply to the job. The company will teach you what you really need to know to do the job. Not school.
The government makes accounting difficult. PCAOB makes audit a living hell. But I learned something here about tax careers. If anyone is interested about the b4 -> consulting careers let me know.
I graduate with my accounting degree in August looking for an internship Ms I eventually want to work in payroll and taxes remotely. I’ll be able to leave NY and travel the world

Everyone go into taxes or auditing to complicated and always changes being made, to much for AI. I feel bookkeeping and accounting is kinda done and not as worth it anyway. I could be wrong but why anyone would go to college anyway is beyond me, bookkeeping is not bad to get into but shouldn’t be someone’s main job.
