Jim Jarmusch and this film are both very underrated. Sure, they are known and respected in certain circles of film nuts, but more people should know about him; he's been around for years!
@@jackhackett80 Ikr, it’s nuts how Jarmusch has been working since the 80s and will soon turn 70. Before I started watching his movies I thought he was someone who started in the 90s, but no. This man has really been working since way before then. All of his movies also feel extremely his and unique. My all time favorite vampire alongside with Lynch but he’s starting to show some age now.
@keflar5 Slaves are kept by force, the samurai cast willingly follow their leaders "daymos" and willingly with zeal followed the code, some by convenience other because they we re legit psychopaths.
Ghost Dog...Leon The professional..and John Rambo...are the realism of an Assasins...alone in the world lone wolf but highly skilled successful..But once you catch feelings you no longer can be professional

@@jackhackett807 years later, can’t comment on how popular Jarmusch was then, but still i wish many more knew about ghost dog, as well as Jarmusch.
I live my life this way ghost dog style.
More like Hagakure style jeje.

Making his own gun? That's a pro.

@@Razallax it's illegal across a few states to make your own silencer I belive. I''m canadian and i think it's also prohibited here.
@orangewarm1
He’s cleaning the silencer by disassembly and replacing the wipes between the baffles.
Did this film have the same armorers as the 1995 film Assassins?
Best movie ever no question. My favourite since I was a kid
His so methodical with everything love it
The thing about this scene that always blew my mind the most is him wetting the baffles on the homemade suppressor. Someone did some research.
*** listening to Method Man & ODB.. RIP
Awesome boom box!!
this scene and the pipe scene are my favorites of this movie
It is a great scene...Ghost dog gearing up for war.
The movie deserved multiple sequels, the creator dropped the ball with this universe
nah Jim Jarmusch is an actual real filmmaker and this film is art. He said what he wanted to say, no need for sequels
He wasn’t hired for his soldering skills, that’s for sure.
holy shit thats clear
I can’t believe this was an actual movie and people took it serious.
The raw-a$$ soundtrack of his movie is absolutely a main character.
You can't beat Clarion!!! Or a suppressor with sub-sonic rounds!

Muito loca está cena,e este som muito loco

Jim jarmusch is making a part 2 to Ghost Dog. It's out in 2020 and called Ghost Dog: Way of the Ferret
i mean it's all good but i'm pretty confident this is not in the top 15 of 'best scenes' in ghost dog
It is bad one one thing becomes two
