Thank you for watching our LIVE BLACKJACK video. We play basic blackjack strategy for the most part. Although even that varies for some, for example, we always split 4's against a dealer 5 or 6. Some strategy charts says never to split 4's (We disagree). Every now and again one of us will deviate though, like maybe we will get a little crazy and split our 4's against a dealer 4. Yes, we know the "rules" say not to do that, but hey, we may decide to just "go for it." It is our money after all. BUT, I will say, when we are on the table with other players, we respect that and will stick to playing firmly by "the rules." We get how frustrating it can be to have another player play wonky when you have money on the table. Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy this new segment of our channel. We plan to make this a weekly segment and hopefully build to more than once a week. Unfortunately it has been difficult to get filming approval, but we finally have a few casinos willing to work with us. Some videos might be just Kelly, others just Jamie, but most often the two of us will play together. And hopefully we can eventually have some other fun people join in with us also. How much fun will that be!?!

Blackjack is good. Used to play from mon to friday. Made abt 300 to 500 and call it a day. Stop loss at initial capital and try again next day, concurrent loss of more than 3x stop and take a break, try again an hr later next table. My bread and butter. 😂

Dealer wanted you guys to win second half of shoe and it showed 😬 2nd dealer made me squirm. He needs more practice before he gets on a live table 😬 Card handling skills were cringe worthy. that was rough to watch, i would never play BJ there again
It was rough for sure...and honestly, we played for about 3 hours filming and they were ALL rough. But that is the down side of filming, right. I mean, as a blackjack player, we know that some days the cards aren't running in our favor so we get off the table. When we are filming, we basically "book" a table for a set amount of time or number of shoes so kinda have to commit and hope it eventually turns around. So yeah....the filming was rough. When we moved to the floor and played the next day, we actually got a lot back, but unfortunately we weren't filming any longer.

Loved your video! Ok, I know side bets are sucker's bets, but do y'all ever play them? I just subscribed.
Typically we do not play the side bets. Two reasons:
1. The payouts on tables with side bets are typically 5/6,
and
2. I find them distracting from my play. I start looking at what I need to win the side bet as opposed to thinking about my hand.
But with all that being said, a lot of people have asked for them so we may try them at some point.
Count was high at the end of the last shoe. All the face cards must've been behind the cut card ugh

We had a taller tripod with us and unfortunately it broke during travel. We have since replaced it so hopefully it will be perfect next go round.

Like black jack but new to the game do you only spit cards when you get an A card? When do you usu as lily double down on your chips? I like it when your husband let's us know what he's next step is based on the card at hand. I'm really learning a lot. One question when counting the cards on the table do you subtract that number from 21?
There is a great app that I use to keep sharp, but it also can help you learn. It is Blackjack All In One. There are also some great books and websites that "teach" blackjack. When I started learning, I just got a blackjack strategy chart and dealt cards to myself and a dealer just to practice. That is what I would suggest. There are so many variables in blackjack, such as how many decks and such, it would be very difficult to give blanket answers.

It's hard to get our chips in but I will try to see if I can get them next time. As for the casino's chips, they didn't allow us to show them.

I know... that was true for the entire time we had the table reserved. Lol. It was like magic. But the next 3 "episodes" are from this same time. We go through three dealers with the same results. It was like a magic shoe in the casino's favor. 😂

That's the correct play. And also one of the most misplayed hands in blackjack. If someone doesn't hit their 12 against a 13, it's a clear sign they don't know strategy very well. The more you know 😉

I know. That's the downfall of filming - we basically reserve a table for a set amount of time and commit to a minimum bet, so unlike a typical blackjack session when we would normally just walk away and come back later or move to another table, we are kind of stuck.

Slot500Club doubling 11 against a 10 surely is losing play long term.
Actually no. That is one of the most misplayed hands in blackjack. Now if you are counting and have additional information, there may be times to deviate. But strictly going on strategy, you should double. I'm not sure what the odds are for each play, but a quick Google search should pull it up.

Yes, James. I need a taller tripod. And I did purchase one. We have several filmed with the older tripod but anything new will be a little different. And sure, I would love to hear. That is one thing I am not sure about. I can play, but my betting strategy is nonexistent. Lol. I tried martingaling once and it went horribly bad on an awful shoe. Lol.

Thanks. We filmed about 4 videos back to back and they were all rough. Some days you just have to walk away from the table. Unfortunately with filming, we committed to a certain amount of shoes and a certain bet size, so we didn't have that option. Hopefully the next filming trip will make up for it.
End of the shoe the count was +19 I would be max out my bet. And add another hand

@@CasinoKelly I'm not a smart guy I have bad reading and writing Level, I'm Horrible at math. If I can do it. Trust me you can learn it too. Take alot of Practice at home.i would practice at home for like 3 hours or more hours at home after work for months. I would go to casino and just watch for hours to practice counting. Just take time alot of work, but in the end it pay off you will start making money👍

When we play at a table by ourselves and our play has no effect on anyone else's hand or money, we will sometimes go off book to get more money on the table. On today's video, I double a soft 16 against a 3. Yes, maybe not the "book" move, but I would certainly not call it a "rookie" move...lol...aggressive move, yes. But, hey, you play your money how you like. 👍
Hi, it’s better to stay alive till banker opens the second card. Don’t always think banker has a 10 and the 2nd card is a high card too. U have a 12 and banker has 10. Just let it go. Who knows banker has 16 in the end.
