They sound like every other black metal band they play the same wannabe guitar in the same key, and sing about the same thing. Do you remember in the 80s when we had Poison, Winger, Warrant, Cinderella, oh that wannabe trendy hair metal. This is the same shit just about the devil instead of girls. But hair metal as cheesy as it was at least had Melody and they can play guitar solos. Musically this shit is stupid as nirvana

He uses a lot of gain, I think, to get that 'growl' sound - which adds a lot of presence and makes the bass really clear.
A little late since I just got into Behemoth this year, but this song never fails to energize me. Insane to me that they apparently only spent around 45 minutes recording this song in the studio!

In all these years of listening to various genres of music, the only kind that gives me goosebumps and puts tears in my eyes while listening is extreme black metal. Diden't know fleshgod rly good before i saw them @ graspop (wich i did) and i agree with you they were also rly amazing, technically spoken they could be equal imo. But the constant blastbeat and constant trying hard to sound low and brutal gave behemoth more range in comparison and a better show. Ok we're all metalheads and it's ok for a couple off songs or long parts in songs to be just hard and brutal but some slower parts wich can be musically more complicated and some different vocal styles makes the heavy even heavier and a broader experience for me.
