Definitely not the scariest, but one of the most intense and unnerving of the year so far for sure! I can definitely see why people wouldn’t like it, but it worked for me. But I also knew what to expect. Cage was amazing
I suppose scary is a bit of a broad statement though. People find swimming scary 🤷🏻♀️ a “horror” movie doesn’t actually have to be scary to be “good”.
@@j0j01192 Agreed. I’m so jaded at this point from watching way too many horror films in my life that nothing really scares me anymore. I still love horror films, but it takes a goddamn miracle to make me feel even slightly scared while watching them.
I'll say this little detail that I don't think you mentioned. She wanted to be a actor. Long legs was a singer. These are things were people are known to sell they're soul for. So when she switched to a cop, long legs and the devil laughed because yes he plays games with people but this was going to be something more fun for him.
I really liked this film, but I think instead of the devil angle it could have been cooler if it had been something like a ritual to summon a demon in the end and maybe some more body horror involved
Not the scariest movie I've ever seen, but DEF super frickin creepy and unnerving for sure! I REALLY enjoyed this movie..... the cinematography, directing, music, and the acting are all extremely well done. I'd personally give it a 4.2 out of 5. I always prefer a well made unsettling "horror" film over the typical paint by numbers slasher types that seem to get pumped out so often these days simply as cash grabs. These thoughtful, original stories are what I appreciate and crave, even if there are a few things I'd do differently or change to improve the experience. Glad you enjoyed it overall, I had a great time watching your reaction!
My new favorite movie. Just so creepy. Disturbing. But I took my time watching. I didn't watch it in one sitting, but three... in part, because I didn't want it to end, but also because I had to let it breathe, and ruminate. I don't watch a lot of new movies or TV because of ADHD that developed later in life, and I just can't get through things. But I had to see this movie, I just knew it was going to be amazing.
Definitely kind of a bait and switch, even the title has nothing to do with the movie. The director said the switch was intentional. He wanted to lure ppl in with a Silence of the Lambs type of thing and totally changed it.
Movie was shot very well. But the entire slow buildup was poorly executed in the end for me if that makes sense… Really wanted to like it, but for a horror fan - the horror elements were weak 😕
@@gitanastanciauskaite3893 yeah! FD was my first horror and nothing scares me in that meaning anymore unless jump scare. And Saw is such an interesting with the twists...
@@Matt-ns8nb you obviously didn't watch such great film framchises as Final Destination and Sww, that actually deliver horror and are much more interesting and having normal plot twists

Someone had said that the reason she’s having a hard time walking after her mom shoots her doll is because her legs get longer

I fucking love legally blonde, cant wait to see the reaction lol
😭😂
not to spoil legally blonde but one of the side characters on there (a "nerd") is the director of Longlegs.

Didn’t want to spend 20 to watch this so thanks for the reaction I got the jist. I’ll watch it someday in full when it’s free.

Viva la indie films.
watching a horror film at 9:53 in the morning? interesting haha. i'm just starting the reaction, hopefully you enjoyed it!

Slow build up? The movie was only 96 minutes. There was no slow moments since every scene was connected perfectly and disturbingly
No, this was dumb film. Better horror films are Saw and Final Destination franchises, Midsommar...
