Ahhh these are my favourite kind of videos :) my moment of gratitude of the holiday season was seeing how well my nan is doing post knee replacement surgery at the beginning of the month, it was really difficult for a while but she's so much better already (just in time for Christmas!) and only a few weeks into recovery

My dad does something similar to this for me!! Since I don't celebrate Christmas at my apartment he gives me a bunch of little random gifts that he wraps up and gives to me so I can put them under my tree, just to make it look a bit more full under there. And it's usually little things like food, mostly food, but sometimes it's little essentials I need like this, too. I think that's the great thing about Christmas as you get older. It becomes less about the presents, and more about all the other little things that go into it

My favorite thing about the holidays was finally meeting my little niece!😍 She is for months and just the sweetest little girl🥺 She is so curious already wanting to see everything and she loves the little electrical train my dad bought last year for himself. This year she spent her tummy time watching it go around! Soo stinking cute! I spent a lot of time just cuddling her or carrying her around...(at some point she didn't want to let go of me!!!) I can't wait to see her again! I love being her aunty already!!!

You mentioned the book about surgeons. You should look up a Dr William Beaumont. He was a doctor at Fort Mackinac here in Michigan. There a Beaumont Medical System named after him. He did research on the gastrointestinal system.

Finally, I have a plush cherry 🍒 I call Sherry. Cherries are big here in Michigan and we have a cherry festival in July. The US navy blue angels will be performing an air show the first weekend of the festival.

Love the gifts! But quick question. Why do you need to buy your own scrubs? Doesn't the hospital give them to you? In Switzerland we all got white ones or depending on the part where your work. Sometimes blue or pink...
Lucky! Most hospitals in America you buy your own unless you’re a surgical nurse!

You seem to like jump cuts in your videos. Is this your style or you're just cutting out some scenes? The jump cut style is intentional in some films or videos. It works for that kind of content.
Yep it's intentional and I feel like with people's short attention span I like to keep the video moving :)
