Newport News Park. Minutes to Yorktown (where that monument is located), beautiful little beach town at the bottom of the hill. Saturday farmers market. Busch Gardens/water country is minutes away and of course historic colonial Williamsburg. Virginia Beach is 45 minutes. Norfolk waterfront …catch a Tides baseball game (farm league for the Orioles). Nautilus is a great tour in Norfolk…then pick up roots and head down to the beautiful coast of NC (3 hours from Yorktown). The outer Banks. Hatteras Island has many beautiful campgrounds.
