I know!! I never seen this one before. What a great testimony though. I never seen Phil that happy before. Not just about the gift, but hearing Mr. John Gooodwin tell his story of how he met them. This is probably my favorite one so far and I've watched a lot of thier podcast.
Godwin's story was touching; he's quite the raconteur. I died laughing when he sank down in his chair.
I imagine Godwin has reached many good old boys with a checkered past.

I have a few questions about God. How come there are so many Gods? How come most of them say the other one is either a false prophet or not even real? How come if you are born in Saudi Arabia then your god is Allah(christianity is forbidden in just about all Islamic countries) or if you are born in Tibet then your god is Buddha? It can't be that your god is based off luck. You can't say you have to find your way to Jesus when I s l a m and the Qur'an says anyone who believes in a false god or false prophet and will not convert is now the enemy. I believe in a higher power but I don't believe in a guy who rose from the dead only to disappear again or a guy who says marriage to first cousins is fine all while he married a 9yr old, Aiesha I believe, and impregnated her at ”first blood"

To be clear if this were an atheist podcast and there was someone in the comments preaching the gospel I’d say the same thing. I chose to believe Jesus Christ is my lord and savior who died for my sins, but I’m not telling you you’re wrong for not believing. I’ll leave that up to Phil.

How come no one talks about how luck plays into what God you get. I believe in a higher being, but it's not one that rose from the dead on the 3rd day after his death or one that says it's ok to marry your first cousin all while he weds a 9yr old and gets her pregnant at 13 or a 4 armed blue god from India or one named Buddha. I wish religion didn't exist cause none of it makes any sense. It has people believing in a false reality. I believe in myself. I don't rely on a holy ghost. Just me. It's also hilarious that my town just built a new 5mil dollar church and the father is living very very well. Not Joel Osteen well cause he is a mega millionaire with huge mansions. It's all a scam. Sorry

I listen to guys as much as I can .and never missed a show. I'm a single father with a 9 year old son with autism. His mom left us when he was a year old. I have been praying for years for God to let me meet someone we can get a long with and trust. It has not happened yet but im not given up most people see us or meet us and go the other way. We both think you guys are awesome people wish the world had more Robertsons in it. Me and my son are inseparable. And always will be. Thanks for all the positive words of wisdom.
Those people who go the other way are the ones who are asleep or in a slumber of worldly fog. Keep on your mission and just tend to your boy’s needs, love, discipline, teaching and positivity are the best things for young minds. Keep on praying and stay in the word, god bless brother.

I wanted to thank y’all for creating this podcast and spreading gods message... I grew up (which I’m 20 so I still have a lot of growing to go) but I had always been agnostic. I had been smoking a lot of dope and gettin drunk with friends, but your podcast made me wake up. It made me start to think why wait to be proven wrong and risk anything. So I recently purchased a bible and watching your podcast more and more to try and become a more holy person. I have quit smoking and have not gotten drunk and I honestly have to thank your podcast for that has straightened me out and giving my life meaning.
Godwin’s testimony is so humble and sincere, it resonates with so many that are on the fence. He will never know the actual number of folks his simple candidness will impact and motivate

So good to see Godwin and to hear his testimony. One of my favorite DD episodes was the adoption episode with Godwin, his wife, and daughter.
Glad you have a CZcams channel. I lived DD, and my favorite episode was when Jase sank the boat. Still to this day when I think about Godwin saying out of the blue, while phil was reading Jase the riot act, "My hands smell like taco meat". That was the funniest thing I've ever witnessed!

I don't believe in organized religion, because so many churches just teach the milk. I knew when I questioned the preacher's and knew more than them, that I needed to follow Yeshua by the Scriptues, and the Zohar, which has the Key's to unlock Scripture. What we have been taught is so small to what is really out there. God bless.
The church is just a building. To be with God is to be in his kingdom. And his kingdom is all around us. And his castle and fortress is Heaven and someday we will be called up to be with him so long as we do our best out here in his kingdom. And repent to him our daily sins.
Church is just a building, but as the Bible says, Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together as some do. Christ IS where wherever those who believe meet. However, a home church provides a you a church family, support, and a place to go regularly to serve, worship and praise the Lord. Don't let the devil plant the seed in your mind that you don't need to go to church. It serves a purpose and I enjoy being around my brothers in Christ especially.

I love your podcasts & I love love love the Robertson Family !!!! I used to set my DVR to be sure to never miss an episode of Duck Dynasty. I'm from Southeast Louisiana... Golden Meadow, La, the speed trap of the South lol. The only way in to get to the beach in Grand Isle & also we have one of the biggest oil suppliers in Port Fourchon. There's all kinds of good fishing and crabbing & all that down here. Sportman's Paradise, as they call it.
I loved the prayer at the end of every episode. It was good wholesome television, and I love watching the reruns. I laugh with yall so much!
My 2 Sons have Family up in North Louisiana, in Oak Grove. We used to drive to the mall over in Monroe.
I remember the red dirt on the tires cuz we don't have that down here. We call where I live "The Bayou." And just up the road is where Coach O, LSU coach, is from in Larose, LA. My best friend Kellie's son is Coach O's nephew. So if yall ever come down here, please announce it cuz we sure would love to just meet you guys!!

I hope one day we cross paths. Maybe AL or one of yall could officiate our wedding one day. I'm 46 & he's 50, so we were talking about just taking a cruise & doing it there, because my fiance Scott worked on boats all his life & he tells me, Babe I gotta go ride my boat & clear my head & I understand. He calls that Seahab Lol. He's got a testimony & so do I that can only be explained by God's intervention into our lives separately, but brought us back together. I feel you guys are Family just from all these years of watching the show & yall being from Louisiana like I am, all my life. Just the other end of it lol. I'm way near the big toe of South Louisiana lol.

Started from episode #1! This was my favorite so far! Godwin got to tell his testimony almost completely without interruption! Glory to God for how he uses the humble to confound the wise! Blessings for this, a truly gospel filled, Jesus honoring episode.
