- People in the public eye are the object of our interest and our curiosity and thus of much speculation, many rumours, our affection or even our dislike. Only in the rarest of cases do we really know much about the person up there on the stage. What makes them tick, what are they really like? A long way from the artificial persona? Thanks to 60 minutes, I often have the good fortune to peek for a moment behind the scenes and discover a small part of the perfectly normal human being.
Tarja Turunen is an unbelievably warm-hearted and likeable person. In the pictures -- the photos and the video -- you can see how much pleasure the short conversation gave us all. Nobody, not even Tarja, wanted us to go, and we would have loved to go on talking. But the next appointment was waiting. Yet we still have a grin on our faces, and neither Leif, nor Bernd, nor I have washed the place on our cheeks where Tarja kissed us goodbye. - Hudba

Of the Nightwish members, there is this funny thing that they are like a fantasy world adventure party. Tuomas is a wizard, Emppu is a hobbit, Marko is a viking, Jukka is a pirate, Troy is a druid, Anette is an elf (or fairy) and Floor is an amazon. So what Tarja is? I thought a vampire (sexy one) or a dark elf (witch).

She lives in Spain currently. She is not just a singer, she's also a composer of both metal and classical music.
A person just commented that why those people cry in Tarja's concert (Phantom of the Opera), you are not supposed to cry in a metal concert. Well, either he has a heart of stone or hasn't been in right concerts.
She IS a singer, and she said she sees herself as a singer. She also wasn't a composer of the band she was in Nightwish

Tarja needs to forgive. It would be an epic thing, if she performed together with Nightwish. She would never join the band, she is independent, can do what she wants. But it would be a great thing for the fans or Tarja and Nightwish to see them together and wounds healed.
She has already performed together with Marko and Floor.
