- Naim Mu-So 2nd Generation is the best technology available in an all in one wireless speaker.
Other choices: Kef LSX $1,250, Kef LS50 Wireless $2,800, Devialet Phantom Gold $3,200
The KEF gives you two stereo speakers so they have a better soundstage, the Naim and the Devialet are the best single box solution.
Thanks for comparing those two speakers! I'll go with the Mu-So 2nd.
You will love it!
How guys ? Flat sound and bad bass ... I check it . Why all love this ?
@@somek1992 Flat sound and bad bass? Compared to which other speaker?
Nice video, I agree that you tend to second guess the price on these all in one systems. I actually purchased the Sonus Faber Omnia because the online I usually shop was out of the Muso 2. I paid I believe $2100 for that beast and for a good thirty days I thought about sending it back because of the price. The sound is great with a large sound stage and really good bass , but is it worth that much? Well I look at this way, the room where I mostly use it is not small but I didn’t want to put a full hi-end audio system in to take up space that could be used for other things. It is a frequently used room for the family and I was able to fill the room with great, full sound without having to worry about losing space or someone’s kid knocking over a speaker when I have guests.
Thank you. Great!
Muso 2nd Gen has hdmi 2.1 arc and optical...and 450w
I have listened to both in real life and both sound very clean but there is no bass in either. Buy instead the KEF LSX II or KEF LSX II LT. Now those are truly good active speakers.
Thanks sir,naim is my choice
Why are you saying the speaker is mono?
The cabinet has 5 speakers in all. Both left and right stereo speakers have a bass and tweeter and slap in the middle is a wooofer! Making the sytsem 2.1 stereo. The woofer being the .1
I'm curious to know why you would say it's mono?
I stand corrected. It does play stereo content but the speakers are so close together your ear perceives a single sound source. For example, Studio monitors should be a minimum 3 feet apart to get proper stereo imaging.
Can you tell what music you used? Very nice!!
I made the video a few months ago and I don't remember. I think it was from the CZcams non copy write collection.
Thank you for your reply. 😢

wow the soft foam under the muso will do the trick? How much different with and without it?
I am having trouble getting my Muso to sound 'clear' since day one without success. Removing the grill helps, but kinda dangerous with kids around.
I use the foam to prevent vibration. Not really sure it makes much difference in sound quality?
@@WWeiss-nv5vz good day to you.
I have put a foam after seeing the video and didn't get much better.
So, I order 4 speaker absorber for my muso, it's at least 15% better, so much enjoyable now.
Good news!@@kinglif8854
This is Muso, flat sound , not clear , bad bass -.- i check it 😊
Is The naim Non-stereo speaker? 🙏
If it is stereo, the speakers are so close together, you do not get a stereo sound field.
A B.W tem bateria interna?
no
Is it comparable with Marshall Woburn III or it is another level?
Sound wise another level. Volume probably equal.
I think the sound of the Zeppelin would much improve if it was housed inside a box, with 20mm thick wooden walls.
Mu-So has more drivers, yes, but what makes it sound better is the better housing with speaker ports on the inside .
Better wood construction shouldn't make the Mu so that much more $$$$?
i had the zep . its ok for an old lady to listen to Saturday night at the proms
LOL! That old lady must rock!
Some irrelevant statements.
1.none of these are mono(!) but single-point, which is a totally different things.
2.The measuring unit is decibels/meter, meaning that your decimeter should be positioned at 1m from the source. In your video the decimeter is highly irrelevant as it's positioned as a random distance, from the looks of it, nearly 2meters.
Keep up the good work!
Ps: "drivers" not "speakers".
Thanks for the education!

Naim seems to have more bass and better clarity
You are right-and more $$$$ to buy!
@@WWeiss-nv5vz btw Naim is pronounced Name
@@DrBroncanuus Thanks:)
BTW, the Muso 2.0 is now $1,300
Thanks didn't know that.
Muso is stereo . Pronounced name.
Might be stereo but the speakers are so close together, impossible to have any real stereo separation.
Yeh they are both stereo and yes you can hear it, name muso. Pronounced like view and so. Muso. Anyway not surprised Americans can’t even pronounce Solder correctly. To them it’s sod der. Lol.
Big difference, naim wipes the floor, naim is pronounced name. Naim is a very well known UK hifi company started in the 70's along side linn products with their LP12 turntable.
Agree, Naim different league! Thanks
@@WWeiss-nv5vz thanks to Focal engineering that provided the custom drivers in Muso. 🤌
@@artistadrtm I have the first generation, don't think it has Focal drivers.
How muso like sound bar?
@@user-pn3rq6dh9y I've never owned a sound bar.
You're comparing it to the old zeppelin...the new one is much better (I have both the old and new)
Would like to hear it. The Muso also has a new model out.
Have you heard the wedge? Which is better?
Naim wins no contest. BW sounds hollow and weak. Be even more of a no contest if its the Naim series 2 model. Think you said that yours is only series 1 model. After 20 seconds it was clear the Naim one was the best. Plus its stunning in the flesh. Was looking at it and the Bentley model last week in Harrods
Yes, mine is the series 1.
You usually get what you pay for:)
@@WWeiss-nv5vz But it says Muso 2nd Generation in the video title.....
My mistake, 2nd gen is that much better!@@majicogarcia8417
Naim.... all day long.
Agree, but very $$$$!
@@WWeiss-nv5vz but worth every penny my friend. Still saving for mine 😂
The Naim Mu-So 2 is NOT MONO! Stereo!
Thanks, didn't know that.
Naim is pronounced name.
Thanks
Mono???? Lol
JBL l75ms is another option
Thanks, I'll check it out.
Zepplin is not turned up as much silly review
I'll send you a refund:)
@@WWeiss-nv5vz I don’t own a zepplin I was just saying the volume is not as high on the Zepplin it’s a bit of an unfair comparison
Sorry. It’s a pointless exercise recording sound from high end speakers on an iPhone or similar for it to then be played back on an iPad of similar. There are too many links in the chain between the original sound and what the viewer hears. Granted you can get an impression of the two sounds but nothing beats listen to your own choice of music when you are actually in front of the speaker. It’s a very personal choice and for a keen audiophile the prices is almost irrelevant.
Agree, for the most part, but if the two speakers are level matched properly, even on a cheap iPhone you can sometimes hear bass difference and if one speaker is more efficient. Hard to find these two speakers next to each other in a store. Even if you did, then you would have to level match them.
So it doesn’t help with understanding the actual quality of the speaker, but it does highlight the difference in sound between each speaker
There is always that one guy on these sound demo videos....
cut to chase son , nonsense
Sorry, B P Next time I'll do better:)
Too expensive! Performance to price ratio is worse! For the same price, I can get SRX828SP! Also, have a lot of spare change!
I agree crazy price! This is for the person who wants one speaker and wants the best Hifi performance that has a very modern hi tech look that will blend into a living room decor. Have you heard of Wife Acceptance Factor? I don't have to worry about that, my wife doesn't mind my Bose Pro32/Sub2 set up in the living room!
These arent in the same league, the Zeppelin is getting smoked.
Agree! In this case you get what you pay for.
Both of them are a joke compared to the Vifa Stockholm 2.0, B&W is boosted and harsh, Naim is just boomy with bloated bass and lazy sounding which some may like but Vifa is open, smooth and extremely detailed with precise bass...
Thanks, never heard of it. I will look it up.
@@WWeiss-nv5vz Hi, I have seen your comment on Oluv's video and I would say that KEF doesn't stand a chance. I have Copenhagen 2.0 and it sounds better and more detailed than the pair of Dali Opticon 5. I was never impressed by the Kef, again some may prefer other speakers but Vifa is just magical to me and I don't think that Stockholm 2.0 needs a sub as it has 4 push to push woofers and Copenhagen is comparable to a floor stander... Happy listening 🎶
@@WWeiss-nv5vz PS, all of them are stereo just not with two units and also, Devialet phantom gold may be interesting to you as its very powerful and sounds better than the naim...
@@lukabosnjak3829 Looking at the reviews it sounds very impressive! Thanks for the heads up, never heard of it before. Kind of big and ugly, probably wouldn't pass the Wife Acceptance Test . On the other hand the Zeppelin and Muso are very modern/hi tech looking and fit nicely in upscale living room settings. If I'm going large for the same $1,300 I could get a Bose Pro8 that would fill the largest living rooms. I know at low volumes a PA speaker doesn't compete in SQ but I play loud 85-100dB! Bose 180 degree throw can not be equaled by any small single box speaker. I actually don't have the Pro8. I have the Bose Pro32/Sub2. At $3,300 it fills my huge living room space with cathedral ceilings with concert level sound with wall shacking bass.
@@WWeiss-nv5vz So what about Devialet Phantom Gold? You can hear in this video: czcams.com/video/g7boCO_qSaM/video.html at 25:30 that it sounds much better than the Naim muso gen1 (almost comparable to the Vifa) while playing at like only 70% volume... It has 4500w peak power and plays down to 14hz, so it sounds to me like it can compare to smaller pa systems just that it actually sounds HiFi and neutral.
