    Usually no one pays for Copa's business class, most costumers just get upgraded. However Copa's loyalty resides on its main cabin, which might be the best economy class in Latin America. Airfares are expensive for most people here, so the market is actually growing with more and more low cost options. Copa is one the few legacy airlines that remain and offer a hot meal between Panama and Miami (while American just handles some peanuts). Even Avianca stopped having propor business class and now they offer 2-2 configuration called "Avianca Premium", you have to pay for everything else. Once again, very price sensitive region.

The seat reclined all the way back, and I was able to nap. The food wasn’t great but they gave us snacks before we left. • @blackeyedsusan727
      @blackeyedsusan727 Pƙed rokem +3

      North America's most southern country is indeed Panama. There are only North America and South America, and even those are an arguably arbitrary division, since America is a continent not a country (the Panama Canal is a man-made division). Now, culturally, PanamĂĄ is historically South American (having been separated from Colombia later). Geopolitically, Central America is counted separately because it became independent from MĂ©xico at the time of the colonies' independence from Spain. However, many aspects of Central American and Mexican culture are very similar. And it is indeed the same land mass.
      How about you step away from this topic, with your obvious gringo biases, since you've been clearly misinformed. You've no right to school others when you are so, so wrong.

    As someone who lives in a Latin American country and travels mostly with copa, what did you expect? Copa isn’t a luxury airline, sure they’re pretty damn good (in my opinion as a frequent flyer, better than American Airlines) but they ain’t gonna be a private jet.. business class isn’t that much better then economy, if you want to travel with Copa don’t bother with it, economy is actually pretty good as far as economy goes. Also it depends a on what airport your flying out of, some have private lounges, some don’t (which btw often ain’t the fault of the airline since a lot of the airports are too small for them), as well as better catering options then other airports. Anyway, to summarize: don’t pay extra for Copa business class, it’s pretty much the same as economy.
