Fun fact: Sol's a genetic mutant.
The gene that controls the fur color of black/orange is located on the X chromosome, which is why almost all tortoiseshells and calico cats are female. Male calicos/tortoiseshells are a genetic mutant and are extremely rare, since they have to have two X and one Y chromosome.
Love the song. I'm pretty sure Sol inspired a character of mine (who just so happened to be called Harry, but was created before the Skyclan thing came out), so he's one of my favorite antagonists in the series.
