Can we do this with Propresenter 7? If so, can you put together a video for that?
In pro presenter, you open the Timeline, drag the audio track you want to use (or perhaps a click track to keep the band together). Once you have your text slides created, you just go through the song once clicking when you progress from slide to slide and the app records it permanently. Very easy and intuitive.
How can I do this with Propresenter 7?
It's largely the same idea. I just figured it out today. You have to go to ProPresenter 7 under devices and set up the MIDI there and connect. Just make sure you watch this video all the way through in case you are running Prime on a different computer or iPad than you are with ProPresenter. That step messed me up for a bit until I watched the end of the video.

Any idea how to do this with WorshipTools Presenter in Ableton? We have it "Working" but it's advancing two slides by doing one when the midi note turns on and another when it turns off. The workaround has just been to add an additional blank slide between each slide.
Realized after I wrote this that you already answered that: I made it go to specific slides rather than Next or Previous and it fixed the issue. Thanks
When you were talking to people who may be musicians and you start talking about the “IAC driver” perhaps you should explain what that means. It may help us to understand more about your app and our computer.
Hey Jim! Thanks for the feedback. The IAC Driver is a network on your computer that allows MIDI to be sent and received by the same computer.
