- In this episode of Lauren of All Trades... Lauren tries out using the Weehawken Ferry as an option for getting to her cruise from Manhattan!
I definitely recommend this option if you're able to walk 1/2 a mile with your luggage and I still recommend it even if you'll need to call an uber for the trip from where you get off the ferry to where the cruise board.

Thank you sooo much!
Just what i needed.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for sharing this information, much easier than driving in from Jersey to NY.
I thought it would be helpful to actually show what it's like. I was doubtful myself of if it's easy or not until I tried it myself!
Super helpful thanks
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
Awesome find! I was stressing about driving in the city 😮
So glad it was helpful!! Thanks for watching and your support!
This is exactly what I did and its by far the cheapest way to go
I thought it would be annoying but it was actually a pretty pleasant trip!
Thanks for the stream. At the end of the cruise, what's the best way to get to LGA ? Thanks
I haven't had to get to LGA after a cruise so I can't help with this one. I get in a car and drive back to PA. Thanks for watching!
Hello Lauren - thanks for sharing. I have been researching this option for getting to Manhattan Cruise Terminal. How was the experience with the parking garage? Any issues? Do you pay after you return? Just wondering about that process. Thanks again.
Parking was super easy! We paid on the out. If you’re paying with a card you can do it from your car at the gate. There are pay stations if you’re going to pay with cash.
Leave your ticket in your car to make sure you don’t lose it lol.
And the garage felt safe. I wasn’t worried about my car at all.
We are traveling in February. If there is a lot of snow is this still an option or do they close down for bad weather?
I haven't tried it in the winter, but I can't imagine they would shut it down for snow. The have the interior are which I think is heated. The ferry is primarily for people communing into NYC, it's not just for cruisers, so I expect it would be running.

I emailed a question and they got back to me pretty quickly.
How much to park for 7 days
One of the parking decks is $22/day, the other is $20/day. If you're going on a 7-day cruise, that's 8 days of parking.
