Truth be told about the history of break dancing. This is a historical moment of hip hop history. The rock steady crew are legends and we need a documentary on this crew that was so important to Hip Hop. 😎 😎

I was thinking a movie or even a tv series touching on the history of the RSC but then focusing on all 6 members, that appeared in the Uprock video and Beat Street, back stories. Especially Devious Doze (Jeffrey Greene). Always thought he was the prime example of a true B-Boy breakin and holding his spray can with him. Would love to know his heritage and nationality. One would assume Puerto Rican but i have a feeling he wasn't. Also getting into how Doze and Prince Ken lived in the same apartment building and how Buck 4 and Crazy Legs met each other and what happen to Kuriaki and Buck. Also the relationship between Baby Love and Doze etc......seems like it would be a big draw for netflix or amazon and could go on for years. Im sure they could get a lot of input from Crazy Legs, Doze, Baby Love and Ken Swift...

There mix tape was way off, but makes total sense, back in 80s most kids that didn't have fancy DJ equipment had to use 2 cassette boom boxes to record one song over another, that was me😆

@@rafeikasratali213 i remember when i was around 5 i figured out how to record over my parents cassettes that had been bought with music already over them.. I started putting tape where the tab used to be, and used them to dub copies of michael jackson, cameo, the gap band, run dmc, the fat boys, heavy d, etc.. my parent's whooped my ass for taping over their shit, but they let me have my boombox while i was grounded to my room, so it could have been worse.

Would love to know if there is a documentary on how they made it big by what they loved doing as well as their downfall.
Yes I know a number of the members were involved in street gang related incidents which ultimately took the lives of Buck4, Kuriarki. Crazy Legs had a number close calls with his life when he was involved in dance battle where he literally beat crews single-handedly he was that good of a breaker but he was also beaten up for it and other circumstances having to run for his life.
Malcolm McLaren obviously played a part in putting ROC in the public domain with his Buffalo Gals video.
