Fallout 4: Wasteland Starlight Drive-In. Pt. 5. Rec-Deck area and Overlook Shack. (pc/mods)

- Using the concession area of Starlight's main structure in a similar vein, the residents of Starlight have made it their place to hang out and relax. Set at the main entrance, also a great spot to ply trade with the traveling traders. Set here as well is Starlight's singular holding cell. Mostly for the occational Caravan guard who gets a little too loose on the local libations. And at its top, the Overlook Shack. Built by Starlight's first settler who passed away many a long year ago the Overlook stands now as a watchtower for the city. The duty guards living there on a monthly, rotational basis.
Yet another wonderful addition to your portfolio of builds! I really love the idea of scaling up the basic two-step wooden steps and then creating whole stairways with them. That's genius! 🤔❤ I also love the idea of using the underside of the broken wing as a storage area for containers and such. Really effective use of space. Looking forward, as always, to the next installment at Starlight and then to see where you go once Starlight is done...
I thank you, my friend! You know, I tied a few different ways to set that stairway path up, but in the end found that those simple steps laid out almost perfectly with the angle of the 'wing' and the height variances I had going on. Plus, the npc's path that whole setup now and can even make it up to the top shack via the ladder. Worked out really well on all accounts. As for the underside, I honestly had no idea what to do with that area, been staring at it and thinking about it for a good month. Then, the day before I recorded this, I thought that if I was actually there I'd just stuff all the awkward, bulky boxes in there and be done with it. It's covered and safe, so, yeah, lol, that's how that went. Thanks again! As for where next, ...,
Love it, especially the school bus…found them 2:28, 5:27, 9:28. Are those large comic books instead of posters at 9:06? Magic! Very good…no, very great! Nice bonfire!!! This is fantastic, my friend!💕
Hey there, and thank you! And yep, 3 this time, lol, nice job! Yes with the comic book art. From Dead Wasteland mod, wall mount versions that I enlarged. And if you mean the fire on top, that was a fun time getting it set up there. A combo of the bonfire and a tire fire piece. I merged the two together because the bonfire has no smoke so the black smoke you see is from the tire fire inside it. Had to have smoke for the crown piece! And thank you, my friend! Your settlements look so meticulously well-decorated and lived in. I can do shops, or barracks but, my civilian / minuteman housing usually looks barren.
Hey there, buddy, and thanks! I think it can be described as obsessive, lol. I've lived in similar environments over the yrs so I have to keep going until I get that feeling coming from it. A cluttered, simi-ordered mess. The leavings of life, as it were. I pay the price for it though with pushing the game and my system to the limits. I've already got tears in my graphics going on at Starlight and frame drop to 13 depending on which direction I turn. I'm contemplating going light on some of the interior work for the main housing side of the settlement. More exterior work with glances into the houses. Make it all a decent one shot walkthrough, not long, but enough to do it justice. And I love your work, man, been inspiring me since Egrets! Keep on keppin' on, and thanks again!

@@EZEfallout You ain't kiddin', I used an extended settlement mod to give me more build area. Turned into probably the biggest settlement I've ever done. Fun, but intensive, lol.
