Absolutely awesome rendition of Nothing Else Matters. I learned this song for electric guitar, but the harp version (particularly with Camille and Kennerly) is much, much better.

I can never decide if it;s the song, the fantasy instruments, the beauty of the artists or just the simple immutable talent that compels me to cherish Harp Twins.
Mohnish Grover ~ We interpret (arrange) the original material for duet harps. Not many iconic guitar solos translate well to harp. Harps are not guitars. Each string has to be individually plucked - a strong melody works best. Harps cannot “shred” or riff. We have to flip levers (or pedals on our concert grand harps) while we’re playing to get chromatic pitches. You can hear us cover some of the solos in our Fear of The Dark (Iron Maiden), but not quite everything is possible with harp!!!
(Many instrumentalists add a backtrack so that people can feel more like they are listening to the "real" thing. Or they overlay themselves playing their instrument "extra" times. We do not even add "extra" harp parts because what we play is what we can perform ourselves - live!! The harp duet videos we post are 100%self-made "samples" of a larger repertoire that we have arranged and already use for performances.) :) :)

This is absolutely mesmerizing. This is now probably the fifth video I've watched and I can't get enough. It's awesome watching the two of you communicating silently with each other. It's cool to see that connection between you two.
It's always been a great song! You have made it more beautiful and soothing! If you were to play your rendition of "Nothing Else Matters" at a Metallica concert, such as in between the times they play, you may get more cheers than they normally do because you would surprise and shock much of the audience with how great you are! I would assume you would already have fans in the audience who aren't shocked but just very excited that you would be there. 🙂

We were inspired because we had a wonderful time playing live with these talented musicians from Paraguay when we were in their beautiful country performing for the World Harp Festival. We had a stand-alone harp duet concert sponsored by the Embassy after the festival and we invited our musician friends to come in to perform with us for several songs near the end of our show. We re-created one of the songs here and added in Kevin, our awesome drummer friend in England.

I heard from a learned music lover that metal and classical are alike. Listening to this, I think he’s right.
Certainly some rock and metal. We are classically trained with degrees in harp performance. We love rock and metal because at the core of many metal and rock songs is a complex and beautiful melody - and rich emotional depth. We love the challenge of arranging music for only our two harp parts that was originally played by an entire rock group (or orchestra).
