This is an awesome video. I can't tell you how much this mall was THE place to be back in the '80s. I vaguely remember them putting up a ton of construction stuff for what seemed to be forever when they were doing the renovation that added the giant tent in the center hub, and they added a bunch of skylights as well. My parents always talked about the ice rink on the lower level, but I don't think I ever saw it. This place had awesome arcades though!
Watt&Shand. Out in ‘92 and was based and had most stores in that area and I’m sure there was one in Harrisburg, PA. Wife and I are from that basic area (she about 40mi SE, myself about 40mi west.) They’ve been gone for many years. A early version Walmart, but much nicer. They, Montgomery Ward and Sears were rival’s. I spent more than a few dollars in that mall, let me tell ya.

Malls in america should put a groceries stores,pharmacies,hardware entertainment so people can go in 1 place..
