- What's up, everybody! Today we're checking out a mod for Blade and Sorcery that adds so many guns to the game I might actually need to get a license just to use it. This video covers the basics of using Ghetto's Firearms mods and demonstrates how rough life is as a Blade and Sorcery npc.

This mod is crazy. Easily the biggest and most advanced mod since the outer rim.
Okay, I'm not one for guns in Blade and Sorcery while the NPCs can't use them but holy shit this video gave me such good vibes. Your dungeon run with the music in the background especially made me heavily want a game with realistic-ish graphics like B&S but with a looter-shooter style of gameplay like in Borderlands.
I am so happy this video came up on my recommended. I had these mods installed using vortex and had no clue why i couldnt spawn any of the firearms, so i unstalled and reinstalled blade and sorcery over 3 times. And then this video came up on my recommened and i realised why it wasnt working, i had it installed with vortex and not manually, so i thank you, kevin.

its so funny how B&S was originally made for swordplay but is the almost perfect platform for guns as wel, owing to its focus on physics

I have used the gun mods for nomad, and they work pretty well, I especially love the 1911 and the M4 mods, I do wish that the strength enhancing mods workd and that there was limb explosion like the head on nomad

Yeah some like pistols and Automatic rifles you know but not all that’s stuff on the video
To be clear, this video covers a specific mod called Firearms for pcvr. It is only available for Blade and Sorcery played through Steam Vr or Oculus Rift, but there are other mods for Nomad that add guns. Nothing quite as expansive as this, but solid mods nonetheless.

I dont know how to fix this, but whenever I try to use the guns in a different map (besides the main one) I cant load the weapons.

This is how is like with the gun mod but you can build your gun, save it and load it whenever you like
Note about this mod is still buggy since it recently updated to U12.
This mod is super fun with internals mod it’s fun acting like real life police mag dumping people

what do I do. every time I try to play blade and sorcery with this mod it always stops at 11% after pressing play. I tried vortex and manual but it still won't work. Can someone pls tell me what i'm doing wrong.

The framework was a .zip, but Firarms was a .rar for me. I used winrar to extract them to my mods folder.😁

You always have to extract the files from the compressed folder before putting it into the Blade and Sorcery mods folder.😁

can u do a tutorial on how to download it the right way please, i just cant figure it out. Well, i got it in my game but when i click spawn or equip the weapon doesnt spawn in. I also dont have that gun locker
You need to download and install both the Firearms mod and the required Firearms Framework. Open both files with winrar and extract the folders inside. Drop those folders into the B&S mods folder.
hey how do you stop things from despawning so fast everything i drop despawns so fast that i have to hold the vice to even use it
Check your physics settings and make sure you don't have items set to 1.

I have a question about the mod, I installed it but the shotguns don't have ammo that I can load into the gun... almost as if it isn't in the mod... please help
Get shells for the shotguns from the ammo box. Put a shell into an ammo pouch for an infinite supply or put shells into a speed loader and put that in an ammo pouch.😁

My game is weird, when im in my house it glitches alot its like unplayable. But as soon as i join a map its fixxed
Do you happen to have a lot of mods that add a lot of items and weapons to the game? Sometimes the item book can cause lag due to the default page displaying every item. Just click a category like "daggers."

This is a pcvr only mod. You cannot use it if you play B&S:Nomad.

If I remember right, you have to use the alt use button to pull the hammer back. (Spell wheel button on quest controllers, touchpad on index controllers.)

I finally figured it out. My controller was dying, so I turned up the double action deadzones. Also yeah, I meant the double action revolvers. I was just dumb.

Did you install both Firearms and the required Firearms Framework? Did you also extract the folders for both Firearms and Firearms Framework from the .zip and .rar files they come in before dropping them into the B&S mods folder?

I didnt know what that meant so I looked it up. Now I just don't know why you typed it like that.
Something weird I noticed was I can’t eject the pistol mag and I can’t change fire modes for some reason idk if other people are having this issue but if anyone does know how to fix it plz help
Are you using a quest 2 connected to your PC to play and are you using held item imbue? I know the spell wheel is the alt use on Quest controllers and held item imbue may cause some wonkiness there.

Hmm. Well to drop the mag you just tap the touch pad on the controllers and to switch firing modes you hold it till you hear the click. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. Try reinstalling the mods?

That's a pcvr mod. It's not for Nomad. There was a version recently made for Nomad on the Blade & Sorcery:Nomad nexusmods page. It requires the scripting beta.

Shut down any non essential background apps your pc might be running. If your refresh rate is set to 120, drop it to 90hz. That's just for starters. There's like a million and 1 optimization tips, but I can't remember them all.😅
@@Frog_Lord85 i have a rx 6700 xt and it still only runs 30 fps. i think its a frame cap tho because Pavlov runs at 72 fps
Wow! That's insane that a GTX 1600 series can't even run it at high framerates. Any RTX above or 2060 should run it fine i think, because i have 3060 Ti and there's no cap.
