About secret names, I think "Geralt" would definitely be the best if used on a fanatic :D

Hahaha same tips but I prefer the punch emoji thing before endurance and I always use the name auletes to give me the plumed Greek helmet. Also here's a tip if u want to defeat the praetorian guard use heavy weapons like Paladin, Berserker and Fanatic but I suggest the paladin ye

One tip you didn't mention is javelin stealing.
Basically, if you end a battle with more javelins than you had when the battle started, you will keep them until you die.

Spearman is the best in my opinion. He can kill a gladiator without even taking damage because the enemy wont be able to reach you. Focus on more damage and more shield and def.
I love Spearman, they have high stats and are very solid.
My best gladiator just got killed by a spearman hayst. And I tried so save Remus but this old rag slip his knife.
Nah...Spearman is meh, i already got defeated by a spearman even tho i have max shield

@@Meli-qj1iw take advantage of your reach, and try to hit your opponent with the tip of your spear, not the side. In combating, don't let the opponent get too close to you, and target their weakest point (for example, Swordman have lighter leg armor)
and also, never attack first. let your enemy make themselves vulnerable. and prioritize hitting the head while keeping yours sagfe

It's best to fully upgrade your spy so you can steal equipment so you can focus on upgrading your strength and endurance and raising you're health
This guide video is a good one it has everything you need to know as a beginner to start hopping! by using the attributes first equipment second tactic, I was able to beat the game! so here's what I did:
I started my adventure with level 5 trainer level 1 Priest level 4 spy and level 0 surgeon (Aka Not unlocked) with 500 gold
I started grinding out gold by:
Using the free characters and not upgrading/buying anything and just upgrading attributes and looting and grinded until I got spy level 5, and then my first gladiator to ever get a farm was A swordsman with a shield (I bought him with 100 coins) and I renamed him to Kratos which gave me an overpowered sword (the chaos blade has good damage good range and decent speed) I didn't buy anything and kept upgrading my attributes and looting after I maxed out the looting I maxed willpower while stealing stuff from my enemies instead of buying them and one by one the gladiators fell to my blade and I was able to kill the last gladiator and get called on by the king, and I chose the farm because I was not ready for the boss but I will try again and try to beat the boss (I will edit this comment when I beat the boss)

and also you are correct about the "Don't worry about gold in this game after some time you won't even know what to do with them" because with my first gladiator I managed to get 20k gold somehow lmao

I actually beat the guard at the end, only one time though using a mace. I just keep on pushing him back when uses the moment to attack, so now I have 30k fame. Only won because my champion was so op
I won twice already using Fanatic. The damage output, once used properly, is AWESOME
I just found about this channel and gladihoppers is my favorite mobile game and this helped a lot keep up the good work :)

You forgot to point out that if you pick up a javilin thrown by the opponent and pick it up and don't use it at the end of the fight then you get to keep it like stealing.
Anyways hope there are more updates to this game and you have more content to show👍
I got to Macedonia without watching a single guide now that ive watched this maybe i get lucky to beat the boss

i doubt im the only one to notice this but if you pick up your opponent's javelin and keep it the whole fight you get one for free

Never upgrade equipment, always upgrade attributes, if you don’t put your point into charisma 9.9/10 you’ll aways max out your gladiators equipment with stealing. Also you cannot steal javelins normally, so how you do it is by if you find an opponent which has javelin go as far back as you can from opponent when he throws it at you you pick it up and don’t use that javelin that match after that you get to keep it for rest of the carrier, you’ll most likely max out your javelin by the time you get to the sand arena
Pro tip, it is kinda a glitch or bug but if u push the enemy into teh wall, which is easy as thy back up when they have less health to get a health pot, press teh right arrow key (teh one that makes ur character punch or hit with their shield) and it makes it impossible to hit u. This takes awhile, but with some weapon classes, if u keep on pressing down key, u can get to spam them without them hitting u and it does way more damage
Personally, my absolute BEST build is a 100 coin cost swordsman with 3+ starting stats, and then I use the name Kratos to get the blades of chaos. I got to 17,500 with it.
I'm not lying when I say after watching this video I passed the level which I found hard Macedomia and got a lengendary hero, but decided to retire

Actually charisma is good because not only because it make you go through arenas faster it also give you more health if you complete the game bar and you can get more gold and health

If your at school on one of those crappy laptops with not much time, use charisma. Then you will be able to go more quickly thru da arenas
this is my personal ranking:
1. Fanatic. as said, name "Geralt" helps out a lot, upgrade weapon, then attributes!
2. Berserker. /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\
3. Swordsmen. The name "Kratos" maxes out your weapon and gives an upgrade to it, making it so u can get attributes like strength and DOMINATE.
4. Paladins. Not too good, atleast not my favourite. Names "Cloud"and "Dood" help, but way too much range, and not really damage.
5. Axemen. Use code "Geralt"to get a free chestplate, or one like "Aultetes"/"Vercingetorix" to get a free helmet.
6. Macemen. Use "Wipo" otherwise not too good.
7. Spearmen. ABSOLUTE TRASH. the range is too much, when i am one of /\ /\ , I get really close and the Spearmen can't hit me.

A tip is that most opponents can get stun locked if you shove them in to a wall and keep spamming right arrow wuile pressing A

Fun fact for mobile players. If you die, you can just close out the app and you won’t lose any of your progress and you’ll be able to start again where you left off. No money required to get revived and no chances taken. However this doesn’t work for the final fight.
I usually max out my weapons first, then shield as for those are the most important to the attribute upgrades

Choosing Berserker(50gold) over Axeman(100gold) might be my best decision on me gladiator life

Level 1 Priest is better than Max Level Priest because less charisma = more gear

@@wthaisaas9645 Focus on gold and save up by upgrading attributes and health (because those upgrades are free). I like focusing on damage though. With this strategy you should be able to get some gold pretty quickly and max out your staff (Trainer, Surgeon, Priest, Spy).
After you've maxed those out, getting gold will not be a problem, so you can start buying equipment. You will be able to use your staff to your advantage and also use the tips from this video!

Another question and the last one is a good one, the tactic I thought was to improve my weapon and steal my enemy's armor and when I was at maximum my weapon I improved my strength and I keep stealing when I have my full weapon and strength to improve my armor, that tactic would be good. ?
Thanks man, i just won the game with My Paladin using those tips. Didn't nt max him but he was op, i used the name Yuki For the helmet and i chose the Farm ending cuz i was scared of losing to the Boss.
I recommend the boss because even if you get 1 hit on it you get more fame then you normally would

Tip you didn't mention: If I die, I close the game instead of pressing anything after death. Reopen and go to career, all potions will be saved, and I think that the spy health removal doesn't. I keep doing this until I win.

It's better to never upgrade your armor just max the attributes and then health only just steal the armor
I named my gladiator Cloud as a joke and as a Final Fantasy fan then suddenly they give me a Buster Sword

could u do a vid with strategies ? i figured out one which is if the map has a spike pit and ur a spear , go behind it cuz the enemy wont rlly get close to the spear , which if he tries u can bonk his head
i play this game a lot and would consider myself a pro at this game and in my opinion charisma is the best because you progress so fast and still get all the good items. i focus only on upgrading my weapon and strength first and steal my opponents gear with my spy when I get the chance. i couldn't say witch wepon is the best because its all up to luck to see witch one will perform the best

Vercingetorix is the damn OG name for templars.....lion helm offers 15 armor for helmet but the thing is......templars can use helmet....even the game say's it all.......and wanna know what the winged celtic helmet is equal in stars with?
The god damn campaign boss.....yeah.....the centurion helm.....they both have 22 armor for a head gear.....yuki is the 2nd candidate that offers 12 head/helm armor......

Ok if you a good player you know the quit to give up the gladiator right? So just pick the 1st one until you see a gladiator with bronzes hand braces or even better a double handed axe gladiator with steel hand braces......the max level for a swordman gloves is 6.....the bronzes and steel hand braces offers 8 and 10.....
And the name?
Thats the only way you can get the golden gladius......the strongest weapon of the sword man class.....(Yeah......a gold sword is stronger than a blade of chaos the one that can fuck with gods.....even i dont know the logic on this one)
The reason i nominate yuki as 2nd candidate is because of aesthetics.....come on.....no one wants to see bronzes helmet with steel armor right?

What do the attributes strength and endurance do
Upgrade strength first because if you use a secret name and get a maxed out weapon you can get to a high level with no armour upgrades and just good strength

Best secret name?
The thing is, If your best hero's name is a secret name and you use the same secret name, It won't give you the item. Instead it'll give you something else. I'm not to sure if this is an anti use or just something that happens.
It gives you shoes. I think it's meant to be like that because it is also kind of a secret name :D
I usually pick a two handed weapon and upgrade it then upgrade STR and END because I could just steal equipments from my enemy's

I play this game for around 200 hours and I have 295000 gold
Also, not to be too negative, but *don't* buy the premium edition. It's an absolute scam on mobile. You pay 2.50 for absolutely no reward, and ads aren't even taken out of the game.
Instead you only get bombarded by the post fight ad offers.
Personally, I don't get any ads because I play on PC but thanks for telling i was gonna buy the premium
@@Fauconmax yeah, it sucks. They should've charged .99 if they weren't even gonna add a mini game to replace the ads.
But even then, I'm so annoyed that in order to get a health or gold boost for my gladiator I have to watch those stupid 15 or 30 second ads.
