A kit lens? Yeah sure if youre just learning but if youre starting paid gigs id change that to a 24-70 2.8. very versatile and higher quality than a kit

35mm 1.4 all the way, I've got a 70-200 2.8 and the 35 just washes the 70-200 every time. Just feels a bit more natural with a prime lens to me, allows me to connect with the camera a bit more.
For real. The shots I get with my 250$ 35mm 1.4 prime and the shots i get with my 1300$ 24-70mm are day and night…. The cheap sigma art series prime lenses were the best investments I ever made.
Viltrox makes a pretty solid AF 23mm f1.4 for pretty cheap. I think I picked it up for ~$250. Has a fairly heavy vignette and some barrel distortion but the colors are really nice and honestly all it's attributes give it a "character" that I really like.
Make sure you buy a canon m to Efs adapter and a good lens I feel I shoulda bought the sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (700$) when I first started but you can also never go wrong with a 50mm f1.8 (130$)

Unlike what others state, I'll give different advice. Get whatever you need. In almost 2 years of dslr, I have used a prime for a day, completely hated it, and never came back. For anything the prime did, I could do better with the current combo of 18-55+55-250 and it wasn't worth it for the slight bump in image quality. If you take photos of anything at a distance, ignore the prime, get a telephoto. Preferably more than 200mm. If you have an M-EF-S adapter, get a 55-250 IS STM, the thing is awesome and I use the IS II version (non STM) and love it. It's wide enough to not force me to swap lenses constantly, and it's got good enough zoom for a lot of stuff Basically, find what lenses you need by seeing what you can't do
20-70 f1.8 and 70-200 f1.8 get those two and you hit all the lens he just hit. Could also sprinkle maybe one of the prime lenses just to have it because why not. But when you you’re starting anything is good! Learn with what you have and build up!
i mainly do filming, so i choose Sigma 18-50mm i can shoot inside and outside of the car easily your list is way more perfect but it's a big punch to the wallet :v

Go aspc I seen amazing stuff on Fuji X-T3/4 or others I got a a6400 was split between the fujis. You can still get professional quality, it's all about the lenses you use.
Plus the weight of the full frame and lenses adds up imagine lugging that around day doing street photography. Anyway weigh up your options. The gap has narrowed between aspc and FF as the years progressed

Just use a 85mm or 50mm and then get a 16-35mm. That's all you need. But what I use is the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 and that has been my main lens for 2 years now. You don't need every single lens LMAO. Only 2-3 MAX!

If you have a certain budget then prime lenses are great since they usually have wider apertures(more light into the sensor) but cost way less than a telephoto with the same aperture, also generally better image quality. Then theres the aspect of a prine lense forces you to do the zooming in and out with your feet, which will drastically improve a photographers composition. If used wisely and with intent. And lastly adding to what lifethoughoptics said a 24-70 is good for events and real estate photos since you might not have too much space to work with. Compared to zooms in say 200-700 range are used specifically for sports and motorsports, because you can’t get too close to the action on a track. Plus a myriad of other things. Hope this helps

I want to preface this with the fact that I don’t do car photography, but I’ve been doing stuff in downhill skating and landscapes for about a decade at this point. In general, go for quality of lenses over quantity. The camera body is important, but the lens is what’s going to determine most of the overall look of the photo. I’d also recommend looking into prime lenses over zooms for several reasons. Primes are going to be overall cheaper for a sharp lens with a wide maximum aperture. While you will only have one focal length in the lens, personally I can attest that the limitation this imposes on you forces you to take more creative photos. Even if you do buy a zoom, I’d honestly recommend setting it to a specific focal length and then not touching it for the rest of the shoot to bring out that extra creativity in your shots. Finally, just remember that the only thing that’s going to make you a good photographer is taking a lot of photos. Take your camera everywhere you go, shoot everything you want to and don’t limit yourself to one genre. Just create
Bro called me broke in like 8 lenses. I have a n 18-55mm kit lens with my Nikon (does the job but not the best) and a 55-200mm both which get the job done like 99% of the time. The 1% is what my iPhone picks up
iPhones have terrible cameras compared to dslr and mirrorless cameras. Don’t get me wrong, the iPhone 14 Pro and even the 13 Pro can get the job done if you don’t have a dslr, but professional cameras will always reign.

I like to use a 56mm 1.4 from sigma and a 23mm 1.4 from viltrox. If you can only afford one lens the 30mm f1.4 sits right between the two.

the a6400 is not full frame it is apsc... At least upgrade to the a6700 for 10bit color your photos aren't as colorful as they could be
