- And that's all folks! This time we take out Ted Broiler and the final boss! This was another awesome metal max game! I'm very happy i took the time to recover everyone's health before the last fight. It was a bit too quite. Happy i trusted my instincts! This game did seem like it reused a lot of assets from MM3 3 but eh. It was still a very fun game. Hoping that Metal dreamers( the team that translated this and MM3) will look to tackling metal max 4 for 3ds. What did you all think of the game? Let me know in the comments below! A lot of those enemies etc. were in MM2 first, but that's of course ages ago at this point... (it's an almost 30 year-old game, damn!) It was the best-seller in the series that paved the way for the newer productions too... and now they're making some new Metal Max games as well, still doing stuff to this day! I liked MM2R's QoL and additional bosses/story more, but MM3 has a better map/balance. Overall, both are good experiences, even if MM2 is the most popular game in the franchise in Japan. There are a few higher difficulty levels once you beat it for the first time. And yeah, I hope they do MM4 as well. Honestly, I'm almost certain they will, seeing that it's last major entry that's not in English (besides some mobile/browser games that will never be translated); there's one more NDS game apparently, but I've heard it's not very good (Seasons of Steel). Well, let's see what happens. I will certainly enjoy it, either way.
Also, if you want to see how the franchise began, Metal Max 1 or the SFC remake MM Returns are good options. They already have plenty of things this franchise is well-known for, so I am sure you'll enjoy it too, even if it's shorter/simpler!
