Great cover. I bought the sunflower album when it came out I was 15. The whole album is great. Might be one of the best from the whole beach boys they ever put out.

italianboy1963 That's awesome man. What did you think hearing All I Wanna Do for the first time? I imagine it was unlike anything anyone had ever heard at the time, yet looking back it seemed to have gotten a pretty lukewarm response.

@@jafnthony All I wanna do is a great song, The harmonies were unreal. That whole album I just loved all those years ago. Of course it wasn't cool to admit you were a beach boys fan back then. I didn't give a crapp because the music was so good. Cheers

It is such a travesty that sunflower underperformed in the USA and Canada. From 1970to 1974 they produced some of their best music that went hard under the radar.

Yours is a very interesting observation. As a big fan of the "Love You" album, I find the idea of continuing in that musical direction if for no other reason than to see where The Beach Boys style of harmony and Brian's writing would have taken us. Besides if I could work that kind of magic then Dennis and Carl would not have left us so soon. To quote a brilliant song writer who shall go unnamed; "Wouldn't it be nice!" RIP you two lovely souls. My heart still hurts for Denny's healthy spirit and Carl's angelic voice...
