What a looker...cars were so much more personalized back then. Your production skills and editing are quite good for someone who has been on CZcams such a short time. How did you get the shot at the end...camera drone?

My grandfather built this car from scratch 30 years ago. He only had the frame and chassis, and 6 photographs to go by. One of only 6-7 in Canada. Film is a passion of mine, something I hope to study in University. My first computer I bought came with a years worth of lessons to learn anything, so I took up the opportunity. The last shots were taken with my Drone. I locked it on the target (the car) and it follows it automatically!

Interesting. I might've missed it in the video but how did he do the wood dash?
Your drone, unlike some of today's car control systems, is one example where technology empowers. I love my W220, but admittedly I did feel the need to purchase an Autel MaxiDAS dealer-level scanner to retain some level of sovereignty from the dealer. It was crazy expensive upfront, but it will diagnose anything from Italian exotics to the Corolla next door.

The wood piece itself he created by hand, having it finished in lacquer by a professional. The chrome trim that wraps around the instrumentation was hand-made with pine-cone designs and patterns around it. This can also be found as a decal at the corners of each window, interior dome light surrounds, handle bars throughout the cabin, as well as, glass rose-holders mounted atop the B-pillar. The fit and finish of the trim completes the look. Another interesting feature - the 1929 licence plate "73739" totals to 29, the year of production.

Dealer scanners are key if you're interested in computerized cars. The W220 is an incredibly complex car. If you're hands on with the car, I would highly recommend the purchase, and it's a very wise decision. Our new car has bumper to bumper extended warranty on everything. As a lease, we do not need to worry about investing in a scanner for now. If the future brought to me an R129 or CL600 per say, i wouldn't question the purchase at all!

    Жаль, что эта марка исчезла
