Captain bird finger has never made a mistake in his life. Everything bad in his life has been someone else's mistake and he has had to deal with it. I bet he flips a lot of people off. Seemed a very natural thing for him.
If that's the case, HE DESERVED his engine going TANGO UNIFORM! May his boat fall off on the freeway.

Nicely done young man. Many years ago I would sit on the fan tale of my 1929 lester stone Cruiser built With Port Orford Cedar and African mahogany wheelhouse. She was powered by World War II Buddha diesel engine developing 25 horsepower. Anyway where my birth was I would sit with my morning coffee and watch the antics at the launching ramp in South San Francisco .. all the memories are hilarious.. This was the era in my life of around 1976 and I'm here to say launching ramp adventures have never changed. Always do your maintenance AT HOME prior to going to the boat ramp.. a couple times I've had my impeller go out at home, while I had the fake-a-lake hooked up... simple thing to do to save you a headache at the ramp...

I'll never understand the lack of life jackets on all the kids I see in so many of the boatramp videos. My kids can swim like fish, but they're always in a jacket on a boat. And we're on an inland lake
Adults should be wearing them just the same. 240lb guy falls over unconscious you gonna be able to rescue him and lift that dead weight into the boat? I doubt it.

I'm a pretty strong swimmer. You won't ever see me doing watersports without a life jacket on.
People die every year around us for stupid reasons. "I can't swim, so let me jump into this 50ft of water with no lifejacket" has happened two times a year for the last several years.
Ego and stupidity, overestimating their ability
When I boated and kids were on board, my life jacket was always on, even if I was not the captain. It both set an example and it's always a good idea in case of an emergency.
life jackest are for emergencies , we always had them on ohio river but never used them.. only a real boater would understand..

Most of these people drop their trailer way to deep. The motor thing could happen to anyone, but the guy didn't have to be such an ass. Instant Karma I suppose as he should have been worried about the task at hand and not some guy filming the boat launch calamities.
Agree,but you should always tilt motor up when loading and unloading. I have a routine and that’s the first thing I do.
After he finally stowed the outboard, he also forgot to turn the battery power off too!
He was probably mad that you or the other guy didn't stop him, but trimming prop and hooking the front are pretty much the standard protocol for loading a boat."Why didn't you stop me being an idiot"
That is the same type of guy that cuts you off and then flicks you off as if it was all your fault. Guy is just butthurt he forgot how to finish trailering his boat completely which includes raising the engine before moving and strapping the boat down before the final drive home.

I once watched a approximately 80 foot tour boat drift onto and strike an anchored, probably 50 foot sailboat. The owner opened the side boarding gate and leaned out to inspect the damage and while still hanging off the rail he then gave the crew of the anchored boat the same gesture as you got in this video.

I will never understand why people go through all the work of winching boats on trailers. If you back the trailer in correctly you can drive the boat all the way to the bow cushion. It just amazes me to watch all the needless work they put themselves through.
Much depends on the angle of the boat launching ramp and the draft of the boat itself (and of course how much of the tow vehicle you want to dunk in the water).
