We are decorating our Primary Bedroom today! It's such an important room to makeover and to make perfect. We are going to show you how we make our bedroom look Expensive on a budget! The before and after is amazing, with a ton of easy DIYs that anyone can do. We make a creative accent wall with a peel and stick mural on the top half (that's great for renters because it's removable) with a lower DIY wainscoting effect. It's a more muted palette than the rest of our house, but certainly not a muted design. Hopefully, you'll learn a lot from our over 20 creative tips in this video to help inspire you and give you ideas for making over your bedroom! Transforming a bedroom is so fun and personal, but we really think you are going to love this transformation and all of the tips on how to make your room look expensive!

It’s honestly a really cool lamp. It’s just really out of place in that room. It doesn’t match the vibe of the rest of the room at all.

Can we just appreciate how hella creative you guys are, kate doing the clay thing just blew my mind, cause working with clay ain’t as easy as it looks. And everytime joey has a project he does he makes it look so easy it just blows my mind every time😂❤️
Even though it must be frustrating to have to wait for permits till you can actually do a remodel you guys have had such a positive response! It’s been so inspiring watching how you deal with the situation you are in by making something transforming and unique and beautiful even if you can’t totally remodel.😄😊
I love how much personality this room has, despite it looking like a high end styled room it still fells like its lived in. Just stunning, that mural and pain color combo had me drooling 😂❤😍

No! The hair is wat too distracting . Looks something a 12 year old might do .My girls and I ALL agree it’s a huge mis-step. Like the videos except her hair distracts from everything
Love the lamp, maybe not for that room but I appreciate the quirkiness of it. Design is constantly evolving and changing. So maybe it can find another place in the house.

Kate looks so beautiful with her natural hair color and no makeup. Wow. I know she's in the entertainment business and needs to have a "on brand" look but I can't help but feel the need to comment on her natural beauty.
I have always love Kate when she has minimal makeup. She has such beautiful features!
Natural hair😂 when is pink at bottom natural? Plus I think she's naturally a darker blonde or even brown if you look at her roots.

Love that you all share a bed. My youngest didn’t leave our bed until they were ready. And they are the most well adjusted, independent social, empathetic, 12 y/o creative weirdo. Errrbody gotta raise their children the way that’s best for them and their child. I had my youngest at 15 and had no choice but to have her sleep with me for years, and she’s all of the things her younger sibling is. Her creative weirdness sent her to Florence, Italy where she is a artist and has shows all over Europe, and has illustrated a few books. All that to say, what works for you, works for you. If it doesn’t work for people, keep it moving and do what makes them and their family thriving.
Can we take a moment for Kate & her glow. She's stunning always but she's just glowing.
I just bought another quilt then got fussed at for it by my parents because I had just finished making a quilt I made myself. But, I had to have her and the fabrics in her looks to me vintage 1965-1970 era. She is a beautiful work of art I get to take care of. She is worth more than what I paid for her. Quilting is my happy hour and happy place. I can’t wait to redecorate and remake my room with the new quilt.
Whenever I see Mr.kate's video the first thing I am gonna do is press the like button because I know I am gonna love it

When I see how much Moon has grown, as a mum, I get teary. I remember how old my youngest was when Moon was born, so I get weepy thinking about how fast time feels it’s going with my youngest. They’re 12 now and have taken their own direction in art and creating (so much better than me, as if I didn’t already hope and dream that). Watching Moon help with all of the different aspects of DIY; your strengths, Joey’s strengths, and knowing how much that’s going to strengthen his abilities both constructively AND creatively makes me smile. I’m not in the habit of saying that I can’t wait until something happens, because I truly like to enjoy all of the moments of growth in between (even the struggles), so I’ll say that it’ll be joy to check in on your channel and see this kiddo of yours measuring and making, and sculpting and painting his own well thought out ideas while you both cheer him on. You’re amazing parents and I’ve watched you both grow for many years as people, then as these remarkable people raising a remarkable child, and now in a remarkable place that must seem magical to Moon. Thanks for sharing your gifts, and along the way sharing a bit of your Moon with us. Keep being creative weirdos - all of you. We need more of that in the world. (I commented twice on this video. Who have I become? Other than super wordy? Lol)
PS - LOVE THE LAMP!!! I love a little quirkiness in a room & something that speaks to the style of the designer, or in this case your bedside table? my 12 y/o hated it. I’m on the hunt for something similar. We’re redoing our primary bedroom right now and it may look perfect on the table on my side. Lol

I definitely need to try some of these! My room is part of a converted attic, with sloped popcorn ceilings, a boob light, and these really poorly paneled walls (like, it's wavy in spots and I can't fix it lol). I painted a dark accent wall with a color I loved for contrast, but I think I need to try out some texture since most of the artwork and frames I have won't really work in my space anymore. I'm considering upgrading my bedding and curtains, and maybe getting some air plants!

I love it!! I got a couple of ideas, on how to help fix the bottoms of my outdated kitchen cabinets. The silver drawer strips seems perfect for the water damage at the bottom of the cabinets, where the sink is. But also I'm getting a new stainless fridge, and i think the added silver strips will bring it together! (?) We shall see? Of course i do want to paint the cabinets too!
