What a guy to have in your corner.
he has to be the nicest person ever. I met him at NAMM 2012 and he had such a beautiful, positive energy about him! love this man!
What a great tone Steve has
The feature where he holds his foot on it is really neat. I could see myself using that a lot on gigs... Maybe I should get one.
Steve has always had such a killer sound. Highly underrated player and composer (Dixie Dregs).
Man I hate the term underrated since it's used way too much. But....I 1000% agree
Steve Morse underrated? He is a legend!
Steve is such a cool guy... And the fact that he demoed the SMB is the best selling pitch I can think of. I'm sold :-)
1:53 is steve morse defined. his alternate picked arpeggios are just mad!
He looks to be such a nice guy to hang out with. I saw them live in Geneva in November. They rocked that stage for sure.
I didn’t know you guys were still Rocking. Love to Rock.
Steve Morse shredding away with Spark Mini Booster!
TC Electronic I just bought one!!! Excited to use it.
Guys is the switch in this bad boy propriety?
Hi. How many db's have this boost ? Thanks
I have one, love it!!
He is for sure the best guitar player of the gym where he goes! ;)
Dang that's a heck of a review or TC! I want it
que gran musico es Steve y que buena onda es
Saw Steve Morse when he was with the Dixie Dregs and they played at my college, VCU, back around 1980. Very talented musician.
Grande musico, sou fã desse cara!
Right on Steve
Let Steve Morse take you through the paces of the Spark Mini Booster. Ultra compact, Super intuitive, and yet very versatile. Do any of you guys own it? We would love to hear your Spark Mini Booster stories.
Does the full size pedal also have the momentary footswitch, or just the mini?
Looking for something to even out the volume when switching between my Les Paul and Tele. Would this work?
I'm wondering the same thing as @markedwards7721.
Does the full size pedal have the same feature as the Mini where if you hold the switch down it remains activated until you remove your foot from the pedal? Thanks
@@petebrown8145not sure if you ever got the issue resolved, but I'm thinking it would just be a matter of finding an output level that worked to even out the volumes between both guitars.
Will I sound like he does if I wear those sandals?
Nope. You need his signature guitar as well
YOU got high probability
Dorthy had her ... 👠
Steve has his sandals !!!!!
So, YES !!!!!!!! Put ‘em on and ✈️
Now available at “1- 800 rock my sandals” !!!
He he
😅😅
Impossible 😂
He is just amazing...he also needs a serious vacation...!
A rolling stone gathers no moss, but the road is always longer than any stone can roll...
+jenniferlacex Love that quote :)
Grande Steve👍
I went to a clinic he put on with Rod Morganstein and Jerry Peak in the early '80s, so I can testify that he's been a great guy (and awesome guitar player!) for a long time :-)
1shadycat I agree!
Super Steve
Also agree with those posts on Steve. Met him (and Dave La Rue) at NAAM in 2008. Totally approachable and friendly to fans. Two of the best musicians on the planet. Zero ego or attitude. Just nice normal dudes.
It is a phenomenal pedal - works just like Steve says. Compared several pedals that perform similar functions and it came down to the Spark or the Exotic EP Booster. The Spark was less $ and provided the most notable dB boost with least amount of change to original signal. It does exactly what it's called; it gives a "spark" to your sound, whether momentary or for long passages.
Do you know if the Spark does the same as the Spark Mini in that it understands whether you want the pedal to be on permanently when you hit the footswitch, or just when you hold the footswitch down? Thanks
I wasn't clear a couple of years ago - I have the mini, not the full size unit. It does just exactly what I need it to do, no more, no less.@@nuthinbutlove
@@BossDM-2 thanks 👍
It's a great 👍 pedal. I like the mid setting.
ENGL amps sounding killer!
Pretty neat
A good friend of mine just met Steve Morse as his band was sharing the bill with Deep Purple and as expected Steve was the nicest guy in the world (no surprise there...actually the same friend also met Blackmoore and confirms that the guy had a black cloud of negative aggressive energy hanging over him and always seemed to be looking for arguments of even fights) but he was very surprised when my friend pulled out a mini pod as only effect he used for his whole performance..now Steve doesn't even use the volume pedals he used to his sound man does it for him in each song...he plays through a ton of effects which takes nothing away from his talent of course.
waaaat you made more video's???? upload them now pleaaaase!!!
monster guitar layer
I have the Spark Booster pedal. Great add to my rig. Also use the Flashback Delay pedal. Both nice enhancements, very unique sounding.
Do you have the Spark or the Spark Mini? If you have the Spark, does it have the same feature as the Mini where you can hold the switch down if you only want it to activate temporarily? Thanks
mini size spark for volume boost , regular size spark for treble booster or gain boost like rangemaster
I wanted a guitar that could play everything,
I hated watching people pick up a guitar fror most songs
I just want to play one . And that was it
"What are those!!??" Comes to mind haha. Just got the pedal by the way.
If you want a better sound the Spark is a seriously good value pedal.. Its subtle, but Superb....
yea, so it looks like im buying it
This is not an ''effect'' but a tone Professional tool ! It will eat the smudge away from any amp !
When he was showing one of the most crucial feature on this pedal the selling point. Whereby for the short dynamics part foot on pedal and off for awhile to create dynamics but the camera man didn’t capture the foot off the pedal part.
Pretty sure we all know how to push down and left off the pedal
That footwear is the mark of a true superstar.
Steve is an amazing guitarist. I miss the Dregs. Cool pedal.
I do too! Loved that band. Steve’s such an amazing artist, composer and just a down to earth, warm and funny guy. His tech vid’s are a delight. Love his work with the Steve Morse Band, Flying Colors, Living Loud and Angelfire. I found an LP he released titled “Sessions” where he jams with a variety of other heavyweights. And who can forget his 1989 release of “High Tension Wires”? Each composition a gem. Especially “Tumeni Notes” , “Ghostwind”, “Country Colors” and “Highland Wedding”.
@@reidmcclure1438 Morse!.... one of the GREATEST musicians of ALL TIME!!! I lived for the Dregs back in the 80s.
Is the regular better then the mini
good lord at 1:45 when he goes off . . there are gear demos and then there are gear demos. Can someone get a grammy for a gear demo?
Hi there people from TC. I got mine mini today, but I have a problem with it. I hear pops when pushing the switch on and off. I tried different power supplies, cables...etc. Should I consider it’s bad unit and send it back to the store or I’m the one who is doing something wrong!?
If steve likes it then buy it
I use a golden plexi
Morse or blackmore.?
Steve! On stage with sandles!!!??? Next stop.....Crocs?
No..thats what a volume knob is for
He doesn't have to sell pedals
There is something not quite right about the guitar player from Deep Purple playing in Sandles :/
Then again I dont know him
Tought about buying it....
Saw this vid...
Saw the dynamic boost ability...
...STFU and take my money! $$$
Хитрый дядя!
His whole thing was guitar..
When you play like that, it doesn't matter you are wearing really bad looking sandals.
Great musician. Terrible demo.
thats a stupid switch
