Love these things so much I've got about 10 or 12 900's in my yard and garage. For years nobody else wanted these things, now they seem to be sought after. Probably overall about the best car ever made for a variety of reasons.

It’s crazy how lightweight, small but at the same time roomy cars were back in the days. The visibility were also so much better. It’s like the opposite of every other product, cars just get more and more bulky.

Of all the cars I've ever owned, by '87 black & tan 900 Turbo, which I purchased new, was the greatest. Drove it from sea to shining see to 225,000 miles.

Proud owners of 14 classic 900s over the years and still counting. Most exceeded 250000 miles, three or four well over 300000 miles--all with original engines and transmissions. Also owned 1990 Talladega Red SPG that buried the speedometer at 135 mph on more than several occasions. On our vacations to Maine each year we fully pack our three door (hatch) 900 with three kayaks, a paddle board and a 16 foot canoe on top! That plus 300 lbs of gear! All at 30+ mpg. And one chocolate lab to boot. Great in the snow; a hoot to drive and built to last. Will always have one (or two) in the drive or garage.

My first Saab was a 99EMS 4 speed with Aztec wheels the same green as @ 3:38. I absolutely loved it. 100K + the headliner was mostly separated, the speedo cable broken, both fixable, but she locked in 2nd gear. Traded it in on a 900 Turbo, which I also loved. Several cars later, I got a 9-3, then a 9-3 Sport Combi Wagon V6, several cars later; I have a 2004 9-5 Estate/Wagon that I bought used in 2008 with 83K. This is my favorite next to my original EMS, to which I added an aftermarket header and 2" custom exhaust.

I have a 900c with a B201c which means it's a 2.0 liter petrol engine with a carburettor instead of electric injection. It makes 99-101hp depending on the source and it has a hand operated choke. It's pretty quirky considering that not that many cars have a hand choke and the non-electric fuel system means it could probably survive a nuclear blast.
