- My first animatic!! Woohoo!! It's a miracle this was finished honestly. If anything looks wonky then just blame it on me not knowing what I'm doing :)

Here's some extra info if you're confused by anything:
I love the corrupted Marcy and dreamscape Marcy theories, so that's kinda the second half of this animatic! I kind of changed up the dream part to show Marcy her memories and just happy things in general. A big part of this animatic is just Marcy wanting to escape back to childhood, which is why she's being shown childhood memories in her dreams.

but the way this song actually fits marcy's story is insane
I know right?? the first time I hear this song, I immediately thought of marcy and knew I'd want to make an animatic out of it :)

At first I didn't watch alot of amphibia but when I watched true colors I was surprised to see that marcy was responsible for getting herself and Anne and sasha into amphibia in the first place all because her parents were moving and she didn't want to leave sasha and her crush Anne alone. I feel for her but her actions were wrong. No is not evil but she was selfish. She made Anne steal the calamity box and she the devil king andrias recharge the stones so he and the night could rule amphibia and the universe. And seeing her death was heartbreaking no joke. I love marcy wu see was my favorite character along side Anne and spring and polly I'd hoped she wouldn't be killed but was dead hell wrong. I was speechless but when I saw the intro of season 3 and saw marcy on life support I was surprised as hell. There is a possibility she's alive. But then I saw some pictures on the internet to see fanarts of her being evil or possesses by the night. See her like that I am terrified of it. I hope she will redeem herself in season 3.
@@redalert923 I know that a bunch of shoppers are about to crucify me for this but, I feel like calling Anne her crush a bit of a stretch. There really isn't any evidence for it. And their friend dynamic is fine as is.

Sweet mother of tadpole Mary, this made me FEEL SO MUCH! That bit at the end... she's not in control, but her sorrow pours out regardless.
The fact that this was made before season 3 and this person was able to predict that Marcy was going to be corrupted was impressive but the fact this literally made me cry uncontrollably make this a masterpiece.

This animatic is incredible, and the story it tells is beautiful and emotional. I can tell you must have worked really hard on this, and the result was amazing. Up until 3:08, this could all so easily be revealed as a (gorgeous) 'shared' nightmare, right before Anne wakes up at home in a cold sweat. Frog in Heaven, this is a masterpiece.

The shift between Anne crying and cradling Marcy's body to when she was hugging her as a little kid about had me in tears.

This song describes Marcy perfectly, and the Running with the wolves one feels like it was made for Wolfwalkers ( for a little context the song plays during the most butifull sequense in the film and the film appeared in december 2020)

I cried watching this, unlike Sasha Marcy never got the chance to fix her friendship before getting possessed by the Core, and in her mind it must had saddened her to see what she had done to her friendship with her friends.

There’s so many good parts that you did with this animatic I’m just in awe really!! I’m a really big fan of Aurora’s music and I never realized how much this song along with other songs would fit marcys personality and character. I honestly loved everything about this specially the ending where it wasn’t even Marcy really hugging Anne but she could tell that it wasn’t her and I just AHHHH THIS IS SO GOOD
