My hands vibrate to much for Motion control, and I normally don’t have problems with using sticks in competitive play. As long as your movement is crazy you can make up for most of the downsides lol.

If you’ve been doing one thing for years as you said trying a new aiming schematic will absolutely feel weird. A few hours compared to years is a huge difference. Every pro/competitive Splatoon player didn’t learn it over night night I absolutely guarantee you. Try it again. Then try it again next week. Try a different level of sensitivity each time m. Start it out at 0 and work around with it until it feel natural. If you wanna stay with stick whatever I can’t force you, but you’re holding yourself back.

Decided to try motion controls thou for X battles tbh I was kinda pressured because I just kept seeing “if you use sticks your bad”. It was hard at first but it literally took me two days to get it and about a week to master and I never looked back since. Nice vid btw I laughed a lot.
An understandable reason like “I tried it for about a week+ in Turf regularly and I couldn’t get very used to it” is good to see over “AAGAGAGA I HATE MOTION (btw I play spray shooters and brushes and also only tried it for 6 matches)

Y’all won’t be having fun when you can’t do a 180 turn to get someone behind you or when someone keeps jumping around to throw off your aim because you to spend most of the fight trying to readjust your aim until you get splatted. Even though you can be good with sticks, motion has a higher skill ceiling or potential to be better.
