As someone who has studied esoteric knowledge most of my life and feeling constantly at odds with a world of "muggles" who scoff or dismiss such studies as fiction with no real research or unbiased testing of their hypothesis, I really appreciate this. There is a double edge to the seeking of hidden knowledge. It isolates you from the rest of the world when you go past the veil and changes you. You become less interested in mundane human affairs because you can become obsessed with knowledge beyond that. It enlightens the pure of heart but can bring madness and reckless corruption of mind and heart in those who learn the metaphysical arts who are seeking it for selfish or malicious reasons.

I've been grappling with resentment, swinging between (1) entertaining myriad self-multiplying thoughts of metaphysical ways to straighten a certain person out without causing harm to another individual (a relative), and (2) turning my thoughts inward to a silence behind my eyes, toward an awareness of something gazing out of me that was there before I was born. But then my small mind looms up and complains that it's okay to stand up for myself, even if it means bearing metaphysically on the will of this other person, that there is no need to look at WHY I am so activated by this person’s shenanigans. So I’ve been writhing and wobbling and releasing in inner peace, and then writhing…. Thank you for calling me out on that. As harsh as it was I deserved it and needed to hear this. I am soo so sorry. I’m filled with shame for myself hearing this. This was pinpoint to everything about me. I clicked it on accident on my search help or enlightenment or control or power. Whichever in the other case. Every symptom and reaction this video listed off I suffered from. I have no idea why. Probably my own hand from the trauma I have endured and and ignored and suppressed or found bad ways to cope or deal. Can anyone explain this from the state of perception as this by EXPERIENCE and not simply by reading: During the pandemic I began to read about synchronicity and the white and black Magicks from the perspective of the four agreements. I also too read about the ideas of Jung and have lived with Orthodox monks for several years and experienced various kinds of prayer. As I read these texts my prayer life was transformed near alchemically but more so in the perception of self and perception of the world. I do mean that very really, like my right hand became the right hand and a way to profess light, the left hand became a prayer form of the left and dark parts. The alchemical mixing was the individual path of the anima and animus of self expressing itself in a way to my perception of self wholly. Even a kind of mixing of ideas and various thought processes and then finally, a kind of experience of knowledge actually. That everything I read I begin to VIEW in the actual world. From the ideas of Socrates to Swedenborg, it is as though perception and the eye perceives a kind of mystical actuality behind things that I have never seen before. Even the ideas of shifting energies or to a similar nature but not specifically to the ideas of auras. It is all very curious and has a kind of affect on my perception and being that is very different to any experience of my mind in over 27 years and continues. I'm not certainly sure as to what it is, but I am kind of deeply empathetic and also too sensitive to thoughts. It is as though I can on occasion almost feel a persons thoughts and then listen to them speak them, as when a heart is free from sin you can feel it opening. It is no longer simply any organ but a vessel with a kind of energy or no energy. When I pray my hand goes over my heart and the other hand goes up with almost an automatic quality. That I can feel my hand move before I decide to work with it synergistically. My mind is learning that extra sensory potentials scientifically are possible and it is learning me. Ideas?

@@ActiveServo12 yes. As long as you construct reality through “beliefs” you are closing doors to alternate ways of thinking. If you identify your mind with only the thoughts created by your human brain you will inevitably suffer from imaginary sensations like anxiety or depression. When you open your mind to the realization that sensation is separate from physical form, a different dimension of reality, you will begin to realize that the source of idealogical sensations which are separate from physical sensation. For example pain is a physical sensation processed by our brains strictly for self preservation “hey bad, don’t let this happen” it’s such a negative sensation that you pretty much have no choice but to be aware and take control of a situation. Anxiety is an idealogical pain that only exists due to your need to control things that don’t require any real control, only derived through your beliefs in what the world is. An example is the anxiety of self appearance, through your belief that you need to conform to the physical world in a way to satisfy the mental constructs of a social norm so that you feel the positive sensation of acceptance. You set a base line of control that you think you need to have on your appearance, which can ultimately fall out of control and give you stress or anxiety. This all being created by the belief that “beauty” is set as a social standard by people unwilling to accept their appearance for the natural untouched state. Social constructs have no basis in physical reality, they are completely psychological organization that organisms use to create stability amongst themselves. Without a real understanding of this it’s easy for someone to believe that they are only little old me and I need to do all of these things to fit in and make myself feel comfortable with life. It’s literally like a game of life, how much do you fall in and play until it’s too much. True happiness is being able to stand in any situation and think to yourself, this is exactly how it should be and I don’t need to do anything to control the situation. It’s impossible to feel anxiety about a situation that you feel like you need no control of. Even death is a natural “end” in the process of an organisms life, but to really understand and appreciate that death is just a segmented part of the larger whole process of the universe, you can come to terms with it and accept death as the limit you have to make things happen if you’re going to make anything happen. Someone can only worry about death if they think of it as a personal termination, which it’s not.

As someone who has studied esoteric knowledge most of my life and feeling constantly at odds with a world of "muggles" who scoff or dismiss such studies as fiction with no real research or unbiased testing of their hypothesis, I really appreciate this. There is a double edge to the seeking of hidden knowledge. It isolates you from the rest of the world when you go past the veil and changes you. You become less interested in mundane human affairs because you can become obsessed with knowledge beyond that. It enlightens the pure of heart but can bring madness and reckless corruption of mind and heart in those who learn the metaphysical arts who are seeking it for selfish or malicious reasons.

I greatly appreciate not breaking up these lectures with advertisements. Never stop searching, most of the population never even began. Which absolutely is beyond me. To not inquire of the Spiritual, limits the person to a mundane existence. Choice is theirs I suppose, but it is a waste of an infinite potential of which we are all endowed with.
It may be that it is not their potential, and so it should be left as is.

I still managed to walk out with (not belief, nor faith) an understanding that there is absolutely what we would call Gd and you can become aware of His essence, which isn't completely narrowed down to merely one State approved text. To assert that His entire Mystery can be contained into one book, I find that to be rather insulting to Omnipotence.
It sounds like I'm with you on the organized Religion aspect. I won't even use the label Religion, or Religious to describe any of my Spiritual learnings, the Stigma of that is too off putting, especially to other people then myself.

So many wise words by Mr Hall. I've been grappling with resentment, swinging between (1) entertaining myriad self-multiplying thoughts of metaphysical ways to straighten a certain person out without causing harm to another individual (a relative), and (2) turning my thoughts inward to a silence behind my eyes, toward an awareness of something gazing out of me that was there before I was born. But then my small mind looms up and complains that it's okay to stand up for myself, even if it means bearing metaphysically on the will of this other person, that there is no need to look at WHY I am so activated by this person’s shenanigans. So I’ve been writhing and wobbling and releasing in inner peace, and then writhing….
These words of Mr. Hall just felt right for me (which really shines as one gem among a stream of all of Mr Hall's gems here):

This was pinpoint to everything about me. I clicked it on accident on my search help or enlightenment or control or power. Whichever in the other case. Every symptom and reaction this video listed off I suffered from. I have no idea why. Probably my own hand from the trauma I have endured and and ignored and suppressed or found bad ways to cope or deal. The mind is so tangled, it is extremely easy to get lost in, or even cause knots. I find strength in the sun. I feel I am going through a change of sorts. But I can never be too sure. I don’t know how I found myself on this path. But with me walking down this path, I have come to realize this a journey. I feel this video can align with me very well. But I must continue to learn, no individual is the same, no destiny can be found here on earth. But belief can lead to something more.💫

_I most definitely went past the Veil and it most definitely changed me but at the same time i feel like it humbled me Ive studied occulted knowledge for around 7 years now and it even resulted in being hospitalized from dabbling in dark areas of the occult and what made me obsessed with it all was when I Learned who Crowley was and studied his works and John Dee and FranzBardon and his Grimoures on initiation into Hermeticis but the cardinal rule i broke was using stimulants while fasting with no sleep made me get Posessed and i was Telepathicly Tormented by demons in my head that made go Mad but luckily i pulled thru the next year it happened again So for 5 years strong ive studied and it read up on everything i can too bad i have watched every Documentary on occult magick and Esoteric knowledge here on youtube i literally watch youtube and read 3 to 5 hrs everyday_
Sounds more like you had a psychotic break. Drugs with no food or sleep really fucks you up and causes hallucinations. Even just a lack of sleep will do that, but mixed with that other shit? Can anyone explain this from the state of perception as this by EXPERIENCE and not simply by reading: During the pandemic I began to read about synchronicity and the white and black Magicks from the perspective of the four agreements. I also too read about the ideas of Jung and have lived with Orthodox monks for several years and experienced various kinds of prayer. As I read these texts my prayer life was transformed near alchemically but more so in the perception of self and perception of the world. I do mean that very really, like my right hand became the right hand and a way to profess light, the left hand became a prayer form of the left and dark parts. The alchemical mixing was the individual path of the anima and animus of self expressing itself in a way to my perception of self wholly. Even a kind of mixing of ideas and various thought processes and then finally, a kind of experience of knowledge actually. That everything I read I begin to VIEW in the actual world. From the ideas of Socrates to Swedenborg, it is as though perception and the eye perceives a kind of mystical actuality behind things that I have never seen before. Even the ideas of shifting energies or to a similar nature but not specifically to the ideas of auras. It is all very curious and has a kind of affect on my perception and being that is very different to any experience of my mind in over 27 years and continues. I'm not certainly sure as to what it is, but I am kind of deeply empathetic and also too sensitive to thoughts. It is as though I can on occasion almost feel a persons thoughts and then listen to them speak them, as when a heart is free from sin you can feel it opening. It is no longer simply any organ but a vessel with a kind of energy or no energy. When I pray my hand goes over my heart and the other hand goes up with almost an automatic quality. That I can feel my hand move before I decide to work with it synergistically. My mind is learning that extra sensory potentials scientifically are possible and it is learning me.

@@ActiveServo12 yes. As long as you construct reality through “beliefs” you are closing doors to alternate ways of thinking. If you identify your mind with only the thoughts created by your human brain you will inevitably suffer from imaginary sensations like anxiety or depression. When you open your mind to the realization that sensation is separate from physical form, a different dimension of reality, you will begin to realize that the source of idealogical sensations which are separate from physical sensation.
For example pain is a physical sensation processed by our brains strictly for self preservation “hey bad, don’t let this happen” it’s such a negative sensation that you pretty much have no choice but to be aware and take control of a situation. Anxiety is an idealogical pain that only exists due to your need to control things that don’t require any real control, only derived through your beliefs in what the world is. An example is the anxiety of self appearance, through your belief that you need to conform to the physical world in a way to satisfy the mental constructs of a social norm so that you feel the positive sensation of acceptance. You set a base line of control that you think you need to have on your appearance, which can ultimately fall out of control and give you stress or anxiety. This all being created by the belief that “beauty” is set as a social standard by people unwilling to accept their appearance for the natural untouched state. Social constructs have no basis in physical reality, they are completely psychological organization that organisms use to create stability amongst themselves. Without a real understanding of this it’s easy for someone to believe that they are only little old me and I need to do all of these things to fit in and make myself feel comfortable with life. It’s literally like a game of life, how much do you fall in and play until it’s too much.
True happiness is being able to stand in any situation and think to yourself, this is exactly how it should be and I don’t need to do anything to control the situation. It’s impossible to feel anxiety about a situation that you feel like you need no control of.
Even death is a natural “end” in the process of an organisms life, but to really understand and appreciate that death is just a segmented part of the larger whole process of the universe, you can come to terms with it and accept death as the limit you have to make things happen if you’re going to make anything happen. Someone can only worry about death if they think of it as a personal termination, which it’s not.

Although I can agree with some of his statements, I feel as though Manly is choosing his words carefully in this lecture; as if he is going against what he knows in a way of gatekeeping the real truth from those who are not bounded by one particular sect or ideology, the one who is passing through his lecture in order to find more insight into the origins in order to preserve the wisdoms for only the specific chosen individuals.
