- The Blues parochial commentary, made possible thanks to Carlton’s Member Partner BUPA, lived up to the hype as one-eyed Carlton trio Andy Maher, Mark Maclure and club legend Wayne Johnston thrived during Friday night's win.
I don’t care I love them celebrating all the time this is the best commentary I have ever seen.
Boy thats one hell of a contrast to Andy's dispair from last year, and as a Collingwood supporter, its great to see. AFL is better when the blues are up and about.
As a Blues fan, it’s in the AFL’s best interest when both Collingwood and Carlton are winning 😊

@@mrdiamond365_ If you think grown men carrying on like toddlers on coke is entertaining, go for it. You can commentate on a game in an informative way AND show lots of emotion at the same time. Constantly blubbering while occasionally dropping in a player's name is cheap theatrics.

This is Blues Radio, did you read the title? Gerard Whateley did the official SEN call
The bias isn’t necessarily the issue. The problem is that commentary didn’t describe what’s going on. It’s meant to be for radio - can you follow the game from that?
It fits in with what the AFL commission stands for when it continually interferes with the competition and favours certain teams. See Sydney Swans.

The Dominator and Sellers were big finals performers. The Dominator had no peer in finals.
Watch the start of the 1987 grand final and you will see that there was only one player on the ground that was fully switched on at the opening bounce. In fact there was NO opening bounce because of the Dominator who was the only Carlton player to notice 5 in the square and waited for the siren to sound before alerting the umpire. He even created a diversion by revving up Rhys-Jones who was playing on Dermie.
Sellers was your classic CHF team player. Invaluable to Carlton's success during that late 1970s to early 1980s period.
