Technically excellent and highly polished, Rocket Knight Adventures is a tough but rewarding platform game. The game feels less like a Mario or Sonic clone and closer to a series of scripted assault courses to really put the player's abilities to the test, and test them they do. This is certainly one of the tougher Genesis games I've played in recent times, particularly on the harder difficulties where Sparkster has a single unit of energy.
Overall, I really enjoyed Rocket Knight Adventures and can recommend it to anyone not afraid of a decent challenge.

What a legendary game this is! Also very underrated, being constantly overshadowed by both Contra: Hard Corps and Castlevania Bloodlines. Those two are also excellent games, but this one deserves just as much love and recognition. This also would've been a perfect choice for the Sega Genesis Mini, but it's just not there and that's absolutely unforgivable!
Anyway: it just blows my mind whenever i see someone successfully beating a Hard mode playthrough of this game, WITHOUT DYING! Just like the game said, you are very very strong indeed!

My favorite game ever. Masterpiece ambiance, bosses everywhere, crazy moments... Konami at its finest... I still play it often and little useless Info, on the ost vinyle from the yetee the vinyle is blue and the character is spinning in the middle useless info I warned you

I miss 2D sprite based games...they were something special 😢...thank goodness we have Indie game developers out there who still realize this. My favorite detail about this game? The Continue screen is hilarious 😆 🤣
