A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

That song was written in Math class in high school lol! It took the a couple years to go from a band playing house parties to superstardom aand it was because of that song!

I love this haunting melody and words.... reminds me of someone I dated years ago and can't stop thinking of.... Two other songs like this are: DAYS GO BY (dirty vegas) and MY IMMORTAL by effervescence. Very triggering. Beautiful songs for your playlist

Something you might like to check out is a Rock Band from Monterrey MX - The Warning (Now signed with Lava Records)
This impressive trio of sisters - Daniela 20 (guitar, piano and vocals), Paulina 18 (drums, piano and vocals), and Alejandra 15 (bass, piano and vocals), have elaborate musical affinities. They have participated in some of the most important rock festivals in Mexico such as Vive Latino, Hell & Heaven, Mother of All, Pal Norte, Force Fest and Rock al Parque in Colombia. They have also opened for Def Leopard (2 nights) & The Killers (2 nights)

Rome Life, You do a great job breaking down the songs with your reaction. Well done! If you could raise the volume on your voice it would better. I had a hard time hearing you talk. You're reaction was great! I suggest Evanescence " My Immortal '' and maybe some older rock music from Bad Company, Grand Funk, Pink Floyd, and Molly Hatchett song " Green Grass and High Tides ", My favorite honeymoon dance song lol!
Many of their other songs are more traditional rock. Kryptonite is a good example. Closer to this is their song 3am which he wrote about his mother.

You need to try bands that set genres and are iconic still to this day - DEPECHE MODE, THe CURE, NEW ORDER, the SMITHS, the CULT...... these are bands that have hits galore, authenticity, iconic, and forever stand the test of time.
Love them! Even better in concert !

They have an EP and 2 indie albums out and just signed a 5-record deal with Lava/Republic. This is Dust to Dust, from their Queen of the Murder Scene album, a girl’s descent into murder and madness.
