Jeder kennt ihren größten Hit "Sweat (A La La La La Long)". Inner Circle wurden schon kurz nach ihrer Gründung 1968 zur Institution und waren die erste Reggae-Band aus Jamaika, die durch die USA tourte.
Angefangen haben sie als einfache Coverband, aber im Laufe ihrer langen Karriere haben sich die Grammy-Preisträger zu einer der erfolgreichsten Bands aus Jamaika gemausert und mit Stars wie Elton John, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Robert Plant, Carlos Santana und vielen anderen gearbeitet. Zu ihren größten Erfolgen gehört auch der Song "Bad Boys", der gleichzeitig die Titelmelodie der Serie "Cops" ist und 1995 in einer HipHop-Version für den Film "Bad Boys - Harte Jungs" mit Will Smith neu aufgelegt wurde.
