Soyul has such a beautiful voice, she would sing some beautiful OSTs or solo songs, we never got to hear its beauty as much when she was in Crayon Pop. Her voice even suits that children’s song so much! I bet even if she made an album just of children’s songs for kids that would even do so well.
Her voice is so versatile and can fit several genre of music but definitely would like to hear Soyul's voice in a ballad OST or children music. ❤

I never cared about any of the controversial issues that occured between Soyul and Heejun, and I hate the shame culture around wedlock. I am glad Jam Jam is on The Return of Superman, and anyone who criticized this family cannot deny how sweet this girl is and how hard working this family is!!
Exactly. I was actually happy for them when I heard the news since I really like Soyul too but damn, the hate and criticism they had back then was a lot. I'm glad they are still loving as before and raised an adorable daughter so well. Even before marriage; wedlock, they said they were already in love.
Korean media is brutal. I am relatively new to kdrama culture, and recently watched Goong and Coffee prince. I loved the lead actress, she was incredible in both the roles, funny and cute. But when I read about her and how her career was completely destroyed by media. It makes me sad just thinking about her.

@@bananaslippers9 Soyul (mom) got pregnant and then got married to Heejun (dad) the public believed they only married because of a pregnancy. Both Soyul and Heejun denied she was pregnant, but baby came and the public got more upset. Either way, both would have been shamed whether they lied about a baby or not because a pregnancy before marriage is shunned in Korea.
Would you happen to know whether tablo and hyejung got hated too? Because in strong heart, i remember tablo mentioned she was already pregnant when they got married and i wasn't that updated over public opinion back then.
Some of the Moms of The Return of Superman children are hardly ever on screen. Soyul is on screen more than most. I remember Eugene was on screen a lot. I am glad we see a lot of Soyul.
Seunjae's mom use to be on alot more. I loved seeing her at her job in the hospital. A doctor and CEO married to give birth to such a smart young boy

This show has 0 to do with Crayon pop and her deciding to move on from a toxic industry where she made almost NOTHINg for the amount she worked is a great decision. Jam jam is such a sweetheart. The scarf on the tree, worrying about the uncles tripping, the cute time with the puppy, and passing out the energy drinks to the uncles warms my heart. She is such a kind little girl.

Nancee N actually it’s very easy for kids to pick up languages i know my college advisor has 3 kids who only used sign language for the first 6 months and are now fluent in English Spanish and ASL.... it’s easier for their brains to pick up languages however seungjae could memorize a lot about dinosaurs was very verse and could identify them by the toys i definitely think he was the smartest
@Nancee N it's because their parents speak multi languages ..by the way even dumb kids can learn many languages if they grewup in that environment..she is half Korean so they taught her more language and that totally doesn't depends on kid's IQ

My heart aches for Soyul. Because she's now a mom she can't really be a singer anymore in Korean culture. She's expected to be a housewife even with her husband being amazing and supportive she would be looked down on for trying to get back into singing. I've followed crayon pop since they were doing guerilla shows, pre-Jumping blow up. You can see it was her dream. I wish she could have both because I know she loves her daughter
She might not be able to be an idol again but she can still be a singer if she wants to. Yeon Woo's mom is still a popular singer after having children. Soyul will most likely get into singing again in the next couple years.
I think the best way she can get back into singing is by doing children's songs just like the one she recorded in this video. That way it also shows her mom side not just her idol side since I'm pretty sure she's extremely proud of being a mom to Jam Jam.
I know. It's especially sexist and conservative in South Korea (as many places are). I wish women didn't have to bear most of the shame and stigma. Soyul is amazing and I hope she somehow finds a way to still pursue her passions. Just because she's a mom doesn't mean that her individual identity should end there, especially since men are allowed to continue their careers.
Unlocked Yes, but there aren’t really any Kpop idols who are mothers. SunYe of Wonder Girls left the industry after getting married and having kids. Let’s also not forget how Eli of U-KISS got so much hate and lost fans after getting married and having kids. He eventually left the group. There was also another idol from EXO who got hate and lost a lot of fans for the same reason, with people making demands for him to leave the group.
Yes, there are singers in Korea that are married and have kids. HOWEVER, a Kpop idol is different. :/ People tend to force expectations on them to stay single / not get married.
