I find your assumption that this man was a drug addict to be either very naive or prejudiced. There are many friendly people who may look a little rough who are not on drugs but are just down on their luck. Though he told tales most likely, he didn't strike me as being out of his mind high or any such thing. Probably just a lonely guy who was thinking back to the better days when he used to go out and catch fish for relaxation and fun rather than have to spend all day surviving. FYI, the Inner Harbor was just recently re-evaluated by the EPA, who claim its 30x cleaner than just a decade ago, and was even deemed safe for swimming. Litter clean-up innovations like the water wheel and lots of pollution regs have made a big difference in the health of the harbor.

My Grandfather caught a 20" (inch, not foot) swordfish from the Inner Harbor. Around the other side, off of Boston St. though. He's caught a few other oddities, some he was never able to identify. That was about 15 years ago. There is some crazy aquatic life down there!

Hey Shawn is a friend of mine, I live in Baltimore Md. Born and raised here. He actually is not a drug addict at all and he is very nice and haves a good heart. He did die multiple times and was saved by EMS he has heart problems and because of that he has some brain issues due to loss of oxygen to his brain for being dead for so long.
