This is definitely a difficulty spike compared to the last boss. The minions are really the only real challenge as they can stunlock you to oblivion and back! So if one even catches you, it's over... Take advantage of the the attack he spits to out to make use of the Flash Move/Guard combo to clear out the hordes to make this more manageable.
