    Clear, to the point, informative, and more importantly it answered my question about direction of the serrated blade as the arrow was worn off the surface (the serrated cutting tip angle is opposite to those found on a wood blade tip for example). Your videos of serrated baldes confirmed my thoughts about the direction based on the angle of the serrations. Result, job now done. Great video.

    I scored, found 2 old 7 1/4 serrated turbo type blades in my garage that were in a stack of circ saw blades. I need it to cut cinder block for a project and i was going to use the old score and hammer trick and pray I didnt crack the block in the wrong place.
    Thanks for the info on the different types of blades.

      @@ewingoutdoorsupply I needed a quick video to help me pick out the right blade for the job. Got the cerated turbo blade to cut pavers (Makita, because that's what was available), and it worked great.

    Could you use a diamond blade on a circular saw that cuts wood. Like would it be a good idea to take out the wood blade and put the diamond one in

    • @ewingoutdoorsupply
      @ewingoutdoorsupply  Před 5 lety +1

      Yes, that's very common. The saw used at 0:24 in the video is such a saw. Thanks for watching!

      It's an adapter/reducer bushing so the blade can fit a variety of saws. Thanks for the question!
