I believe I know of how to revive the Mii fighters, since we are the ones who customize our Miis inside the Mii Channel, they can go inside the Mii Channel and make the Miis to look similar as the Miis fighters to be their replacement. Although, I have a feeling that they would mistaken Mii Gunner as Sans, Cuphead, or Doom Guy since we always have them on those costumes.
Fun fact: he Captain's dead body made its first appearance back in July 8th on this channel, and now after more than 10 months he's finally revived.

It’s not because he’s weak, it’s because Sonic isn’t the “chosen one.” The only reason Shulk can wield the Monado was because the god Zanza was lying dormant in Shulk’s body. If Zanza isn’t giving the wielder power, or if they disobey his will, the Monado can mortally wound or even kill them.
I guess in this universe, Zanza is in Sonic’s body too

I believe I know of how to revive the Mii fighters, since we are the ones who customize our Miis inside the Mii Channel, they can go inside the Mii Channel and make the Miis to look similar as the Miis fighters to be their replacement. Although, I have a feeling that they would mistaken Mii Gunner as Sans, Cuphead, or Doom Guy since we always have them on those costumes.
